Mahasamparka - The Grand Connection' is the story of two people living in different places and different times, brought together by a strange turn of providence.
Ramesh, a rag picker, leads a life devoid of purpose and one of loneliness until one day, when he finds an old Television set. Unable to switch it on after many attempts, he gives up
assuming its an old worthless piece of junk. Moments later, the TV comes on by itself and a girl, Lakshmi, is peering through it at Ramesh. It takes Ramesh and Lakshmi a while to realize
that their TV's are actually windows into each other's space and time. They begin to converse, Lakshmi assuming that this was meant to happen, since they have nobody in their lives. Later
they get to know they live in two different times i.e Lakshmi live in 1984 and Ramesha in 2015.
