I can relate to Meenakshi's feelings. This movie is amazing cause it showed a woman's attraction towards a man. Usually movies show the opposite. May be I like Prithviraj so much that I could relate 🥰

I absolutely LOVE this movie! It's overall tone is so different from typical Hindi movies, and the first time I watched it, I was blown away. The movie is actually very artistic, and I love how we are given the female gaze perspective. So many Indian films just use their leading ladies for the dances, or a love interest for the hero, BUT this movie did not. It gave us a uniquely female gaze, and the character of Meenakshi is just so LOVEABLE. I think this is a movie that can definitely ploarize people, but having seen so many movies in my lifetime, I have to admit this movie is artistically very moving. I think it all depends on how you see it, and you own personal experiences in life. DEF one of my top 5 all time fav movies!

Loved the raw look of Prithviraj. He speaks with his eyes..his personality...uffff..I could not take my eyes from him . Rani did exceptionally well in this movie..

the last scene exactly before pre credits was the best scene ever... it shows rani mukherjee living her dream and being in her dreaming zone n prithvi is the first one who notices her dreaming n he also joins her in her fantasy .... n understands her ❤❤

The best review given by someone so far (for this movie). I loved the movie so much that whenever I get time I watch Meenakshi's part with Surya. Prithviraj is too good. His rugged look as an art student, his calmness, his carefree nature (he's shown quite engrossed & consumed when he's painting), his expressive eyes...are a treat to watch. I like him since his entry in Bollywood. He should do more Bollywood movies. He did a Yashraj movie with Arjun Kapoor & he, actually, outshined him (though Prithviraj had a small part).

Back in 2012 when this film was released, i was too young to appreciate this. Now after 8 years, i came across this following monali thakur's song Agga bai halla machaye. And my god, what a gem i have found! I haven't watched the film yet but hope to do it as soon as possible. From the trailer and other snipets, i believe it was one of those movies that shed light on female desires and wants. And dear Rani Mukhergi killed it with grace.

Prithviraj should do more Bollywood movies. Because before Aiyyaa we did not even know what we were missing ;) I'd go watch any movie done by him now!!! Those expressive eyes!!! Damn! I am in love with him.

What a beautiful use of Shahnai done in this song along with other instruments of music with such a Melodious tune and then Voice of Shreya Ghoshal ji and on top of the cake Beautiful picturization as well as brilliant acting of Rani ji and Prithiviraj ji take this song to another level 👏👏 Simply awesome and fantastic
