After failing to find the mahi 2 times, we finally hit the loads on our 3rd try. I know they were just peanuts but it was our first time encountering these exotics high flyers. We bought in 10 peanuts around 700ft before finding them again in 150ft as we were heading back in. We had a total blast fighting them on light tackle. They were great eating as well. I found out why they are such a highly sought out gamefish after that trip.
