Yes, it has body roll. Yes, it has nose dive. Yes, you hear a lot of wind noise while cruising in the highway. Yes, it is an ergonomic nightmare. Yes, the voice assistance is stupid. But, it makes your beard grow 2 centimeters long whenever you go for a drive in it - it feels macho. It gives that "Maza aa gaya" feeling while driving. Whenever I travel to another city for work, I always book a self drive car for local commutes. And, always, my go to choice is the Mahindra Scorpio. Many say it is difficult to drive, but for me personally, Scorpio is one of those cars in which I can just walk in and get comfortable in seconds. This thing has absolutely zero blind spots. Bonnet will be visible from edge to edge. And the side mirrors will show the rear end 100%, no matter how we adjust it. Seeing the size, one might think it will be difficult in traffic and in narrow streets, but because of the brilliant visibility, it is much easier to cut through gaps - easier than a hatchback or a compact sedan. You can clearly see each and every corner of the car. Even while parallel parking or perpendicular parking, you don't have to move the mirrors downwards to see the curbs - keeping it in the normal position itself will be enough - that's how good the visibility is. And that sweet mhawk 2.2 under the bonnet 😍. "Turbo lag? What the hell is it?" Says the scorpio. I have only driven the 280 nm version of the scorpio with the 5 speed manual. On paper, this version of the scorpio is much heavier and has lesser torque than the smaller XUV 300 diesel I own. It sounds like it will feel slow as shit to an XUV 300 owner. But no. It felt just adequate. Never once I have felt the lack of torque in the 280 nm scorpio. Finally the road presence. You never have to use the horn in this thing. Just gently flash the lights once, and all those auto-wallas will scatter away 😂 i won't call the scorpio a beautiful call. But it is definitely looks intimidating in the rear view mirror. Language doesn't matter, be it Tamil or Telugu, or Hindi, or Malayalam, if it is an Indian movie, the bad guys in it always arrive in a scorpio - no wonder why 😅

The game changer of Mahindra and 50% of the people call it SCARPIO😂😂😂😂😂

The reason it sells so much is the reliability and road presence of this car. Xuv500 is more likely to suffer from issues than a scorpio. It is a proper ladder on frame suv which can tackle bad roads easily. Mahindra has given so many features and updates unlike tata which treats safari like tata is her stepmom. I hope upcoming 2020 scorpio will be safer and better.

The reason for the non projector setup in the right may be due to a right side frontal impact and it was done just to keep the repair costs low.

The reason for not having projectors on one side is that is shudnt affect the driver on the opposite side. Its part of the road safety regulation which was first actually implemented by Mercedez Benz which automatically dims one of the projectors.. But this is a mahindra and for the price this is what u get. Learn to respect fellow road users. Road Manners. Thumbs up Mahindra

That voice command is veey helpful in our 2011 scorpio too its there and when there a fuild leaking from the bottom of the par the voice assistant told us "ATTENTION ATTENTION" due to which we came to know about the leakage

If you look closely at the front right side bumper you can see that the car was in an accident. So when they changed the headlights they must have used one from a lower trim level. That explains why one headlamp is a projector and the other isn't!

Suddenly I felt like inception Movie 😹! Pickup & Torque is Good in Scorpio ! 100-120 is the safest cruising speed in Indian Roads Especially for SUV’s pickup & torque between 0-100 is wats needed for driving enthusiasts, Scorpio offers one ☝️

Once I travelled with mahindra Scorpio s3 varient at speed of about 140km/hr upto 150kms. It is so smooth at such a great speed and breaking also but I felt tired after such long journey. I Love Scorpio 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

Instead of buying a new scorpio for around 15 lakhs, one can buy a used fortuner in a good condition around 12 lakhs and stay trouble free with life time.. it's not Indian products are bad, but japanese products are better especially in automobile industry. People who cry here to support Indian brands are the same who use Chinese made mobile or other devices to comment the same..
