Mr. Nimmy, you made my day sir. I didn't see if you locked the clutch pedal down, but it's helpful while moving the lugs. I was able to approach from the front and tap the double lugs straight back. Again, thanks for the excellent vid.
Most helpful of all the videos I watched on this problem. It's a mechanical machine, and they will ALL have an issue from time to time. Thanks for the video! Blessings.
My 3016 tractor did the exact same thing this weekend. When I get back from work I will have to see if this works. First video I watched on this, thanks for posting the information!
Just wanted to say thanks. My 2516 got stuck between 2nd and 4th.. That's the INSIDE dog. The seat plate overhangs the levers/dogs so I had to pop off the plastic cover... just 4 screws and about 1 minute once I got the right tool in there. THANKS, from forest-fire-choked Western Oregon. (AQI today was just 303... half of what it was 3 days ago... it feels like SPRING, lol)
Mine was on a 1533 shuttle. This worked for me with one modification. The dealer had me use the crescent wrench on the dog gripping it to extend it as a level and pull it back into place. No hammer no tapping required. Thanks for the video cut my diagnosis time way back.
Saved the day! Thank you! I just dropped a pipe wrench down in there (the nearest tool i had) have it a few taps and it popped back into place. Thank you!
Similar situation, trying to learn how to use a Mahindra 3616 on the fly. Going out to the camp today, will see if I can knock it back to neutral. Thanks for the video!
Just saved me a lot of down time. Just got my 1635 back after 5 months of waiting on parts to fix a busted front axle and I did not want to send it back for anything else if I can not help it.
That is one more thing I will try, thank you. Subscribed. If I can get it to work, I will find a way to link to you to this video. I also subscribed. We don't have the money to be takin our Mahindra to the shop every time it has an issue anymore. Have to figure it out ourselves.
Remove the two bolts that hold gear shift down and scoot it in towards tractor if can not , reem the holes ot so gaer shifter can be moved in. This worked for me
My husband did this to my brand new tractor... hoping this does the trick. I'm guessing he was shifting gears over bumpy field and it caused it to stick. Burnt up the clutch pretty good too as we had to finish hsy before we could look at the gears..
