A few things I strongly disagree. 1) Space for rear passenger: can u tell me which other car of same segment has better space that TUV? 2) back seat comfort for long drive. Don't know whether you have driven except for test drive, it's the best for long drive compared to others. One suggestion, why don't you have a scientific approach towards review? That would help understand a vehicle better
1) Nexon and even WRV has more knee room than the TUV. 2) The rear seat doesn't have good back support and it is too bouncy at the back. The padding and back support is minimal on the rear seats.
MotorOctane..LOL after watching your review...bro i bought this vehicle 6months back...its a spacious SUV even compare to scorpio... i never felt rear seat is uncomfortable or less knee room. and handling hahaha far better than ecosport bt in terms of body roll yes there are lots of body roll. i strongly disagree about your review on TUV.
This has the maximum space among all vehicles in the same segment. Ideal for 5+ families. Then the last 2 seats comes handy for kids . Also unlike ecosport , nexon and brezza its a proper suv . T8 which introduced 100 bhp has made the driving really smooth . Enough power now . It has a torquie engine which makes city driving also easy . Features are good enough. Seating in rear seats is comfortable .
sourav bora you are absolutely right. It's very good in city coz of high seating position and torque. Is awesome for long drive when compared to others in same segment. Definitely it's different from normal car. Ltl difficult to compare with ltl cars like breeze, ecosport etc.
MotorOctane what I suggest is go to the website cardekho.com. - scientific test reports - they have done some serious study on all aspects of vehicles. Not just perception or biased. It shows breeza and TUV similar on seating comfort. May be helpful for your future review aswell.
Being a fan of the TUV 300, i can't thank you enough. And the features you explained are genuine, the point you made about the vehicle at 7:13 got me a kick.
Prashant Wakade Great to hear that. How's your experience with the tuv 300, I want to know about it as much as i can. What do you like about your vehicle? Could you share plz?
You know most of the pros of the car, but I’ll tell you about the cons- 1) Even though it has 100bhp and 240Nm engine , the power to weight ratio is very poor , its around 2300kg heavy, so initial pickup is very good but soon when you reach at speeds above 80-100, engine shows very poor response, you feel underpowered during overtaking and it takes time to reach from 100 to 120, and also till date i achieved top speed of 140 on six lane highway 2) Dont buy if you want good fuel economy as it gives me around 10-12kmpl(with AC) 3) as you are very high from ground even small undulations on road will be felt , on Asphalt roads its super smooth but on city’s RCC it not that comfortable, but as an advantage you can cruise over potholes or any kind of road at min 40kmph,you dont need to slow down for anything. 4) Front row seats are very comfortable but middle row has very poor back support and the last row seats serve only for occasional times. 5) its a rear wheel drive vehicle so you may loose traction on wet roads occasionaly(rare coz i experienced only once) but rear wheel drive has its own perks.
Hi pls advice i m planning to buy 2018 model T10 good condition and 20000 kilometres driven.. price 8.50 lacs.. I like it.. pls advice if pricing is good..
Hi, excellent review , watched your video a couple of times , have taken a test drive , loved everything about the vehicle , only concern is about the passengers getting nauseous and puking due to the body roll , and since I've always owned a hatchback was concerned about city heavy traffic handling and turning radius, please advise , would be really grateful , thank you 😊
Healthy Mommy Recipes absolutely agree. These reviews wants to play safe and want to match with perception. I don't think TUV has anything in common with breeza and ecosport. It's a different experience on TUV.

I have this car.....but 2016's version....I feel Mahindra should work on it's power....sometimes I feel hesitate while overtaking due to it's less power...but all and all it's a good Car
Motoroctane hi and thank for the good work. Tell me your views on if TUV 300 is the best and only option in its price range for driving on hill roads through slush, snow, gravel, water crossings. !!
Hi... Thanks for your video, can you pls brief us abt engine noise etc as I have seen some video while they are driving in the hill area where this rear wheels are spinning in off road ... is this problem still persists or fixed up pls suggest clearly as I am also planning to buy this car...
Hi Manoj There isn't too much of engine noise. In off-road all vehicles see wheel spinning, and this isn't even a 4x4, so it will struggle off the road when it looses road grip.
Dude i owns 80bhp T8 model and never feel it's lagging in performance or in pickup. I can assure you 80 bhp model can also beat any other competitors in same segment for pickup even though having 3 cylendar engine. Also not agree with the city ride. I think tuv has the best gear play across all the gears and u can drive effortlessly on higher gears in city. It has best tollarance.
Sir, why do you say the back seats are not comfortable. I felt they have got good thigh support during my test drive. No taken it for a long test drive though! Plz advice.
I went through the review that you have posted but I am confuse whether it is front wheel drive or rear wheel drive. I guess this should be include in your review which matters a lot while purchasing it. Hope that you will add this part in your next review.
Sir I want to buy a new hatchback AMT car. Should I go with grand i10 Asta optional AMT 2016 variant or Tata Tiago xza variant. And which will be value for money after long use also. Please give the reason also. Please reply sir. Thank you
If the price difference of more than a lakh doesn't bother you then go for i10. Else Tiago is vfm. And talking about reliability, I have been driving Tiago since more than a year and I haven't faced any problem whatsoever.
Hello sir ji.. I am much confused about which vehicle to buy in my budget I have option for T10 amt , Renault duster petrol automatic and EcoSport automatic.. my priority is automatic variant... Usage of car is very limited i.e. 500 kms a month... Which vehicle to go for.. pls suggest
i am planning to buy a car....the option which i have is Mahindra tuv 300, Vitara Brezza, Ford Eco sport. Personally i prefered tuv, since i mostly go for long drives. And moreover the only thing which i am concerned abt is the seat comfort for the rear passenger. Which of these car would do both ie rough use with low maintenance and a comfort too..and moreover in my family max height is of 5.10. Please do rply. Thank you
How it performs on highways considering power to weight ratio is very less compared to other sub four meter will it do 140 plus..? Also did u encountered any wheel spin issue .. i heard many existing owners are facing this?
Piyush Agnihotri I bought this. And I hate the wheel spin issue. It can’t be changed. Overall a petrol like feeling suv. Very smooth and handles off-road
Bahi ager aap ko desi car leni h to tuv ka koi jwab nhi h or ager aapko features wali car leni h to wrv or nexon dono achi h lekin nexon value for money car h
Sir Mene yeh car perchas ki hain just 15 day ago nd mere extra tyre me aloy wheel nhi h normaly simple hain t 10 model h Usme bhi nhi aata kya extra tyre aloywheels ke sath
Dhanraj Waghmare better go with tiago,i have older kuv 100 old k4 petrol terrible mileage issues,in every petrol version,in city just 8-9 without ac and 6-7 with ac,and 18 on highway without ac all windows closed driving at 60-70,if mileage is not an issue then you can go with it,or if you want to really buy it,buy diesel version.
What is the real world mileage and avrg service cost of tuv300..m a big fan of ur reviews..so i evn want u to make a video on avrg servc cost, mileage of al mini suvs..i.e.tuv,breza,ecosport,nexon.
If mahindra provided a rear seat with 60:40 split ,it will be a great successful car .The main backdrop is rear seat. Please forward this feedback to Mahindra.
