Hi Srihari, I do not see any reason why they do not allow. When you are purchasing a car worth more than 10 lacs, you have all right to check it. What I suggest is to do initial PDI at stock yard by yourself. Take picture of the chassis number and just before 1 day of delivery, tell them not to make invoice unless the PDI is done. Tell them to wash the car properly and go there around 12pm or so when sunlight is ample. Put the car in well lit place and do the PDI. Match the chassis number you took at stock yard and do checks one by one. Once you are satisfied tell them to make invoice and call your family for delivery.

@TravelWithNash Thank you so much for thr detailed response sir. Unfortunately I've called all the major dealers and they don't allow 3rd Party PDI, and this was the same thing told by Mahindra themselves. So I'll be taking with a good 4 wheeler mechanic to do the PDI. Thanks again sir, BTW I've booked the AX7L and waiting patiently for over 2 months😭😬

I first booked the AX7L model but later rejected because of too much white interior and also I wanted a car early. I am okay with not having that 1.5x sunroof and extra speaker. Rest all the stuff I am getting installed from dealer.

Yes, AMT gearbox is not that fun to drive. White interiors are a pain but this is what you have to live with now :( This is the sole reason I did not take the AX7L.

You should do the initial PDI from the stockyard. Note the chassis number and take photos. Then when the car comes to the showroom do the final PDI before they make the bill. Make sure they do not generate invoice.

@@moumitakonar2917 You can take all tools to do PDI as I did. It is nothing wrong in it. I too took loan and the process is very simple. I can do another short video explaining the PDI process if you want.

The bonnet was repainted from the factory itself. After washing and doing some buffing it was perfectly fine. Even the dealers did not know it was repainted. So everything was good. It happens to many cars and its normal. I will post another video showing the bonnet clearly and you cannot make out any difference.

@@TravelWithNash factory paints are not hazy but anyways you already took the delivery. I just stumbled upon the channel and liked the content, you should have given a mic to the other guy he was hardly audible, I am planning to buy the same variant but knowing Mahindra waiting for initial issues to be ironed out. Do make content around drive quality, mileage & issues in case you face any.

Yes this is true. I personally have only driven 500+ and till now the Automatic variant has not given that many issues. The only issues I see are from the software side which I am sure they will fix in future. This was same with the 700 also at the time of release. Overall the engine is smooth and fun to drive. I am happy with the purchase so far. This may change after using, but only time will tell.

Harmeetji, PDI har gaadi ka karna chahiye. This is most important. Aap itna paisa daal rahe hai toh aap bhi expect karenge ki gaadi me koi fault na ho.

8 in city (AX5l Automatic). So many issues in infotainment and adrenox.

Hi, It is called Coating Thickness Gauge Meter. You can purchase in amazon if you want, but it is very costly. Its good to use PDI service as they have all tools to check paint and AC cooling etc.
