I have a XUV300 diesel. I normally keep the RPM needle between 1000 and 2000 rpm - only while overtaking I will rev it out a bit. But at any case, I won't cross 3500 rpm. Mine returns 18 kmpl in moving city traffic, and in highways (with cruise control on at 100 kmph, 6th gear) it returns 20+ easily. Even in bumper to bumper heavy start stop kind of traffic in the city, it returns 13 to 16 kmpl. Such a great machine it is. 🥰

I asked a car enthusiast gentleman jokingly that xuv700 launched, when will you buy, he jokingly replied he prefers xuv 600, i took that as a joke, until few days later i noticed he owns 2 xuv300, so its makes xuv600 , lol.

XUV300 is the best in segment. I had a test drive if Nexon and XUV 300 in the same day in 10minuts gap. I found in Nexon a big cabin noice and hard clutch. XUV300 is very smooth. And I find blaind spot in Nexon A pillar. Body roll also more in Nexon. XUV300 has less boot space and less ground clearance ,because of this we are getting more rare space and less body roll. XUV 300 (D) has a powerful engine. It will give us a fun to drive experience. Over taking in highway by XUV 300 is really fun. After 2 months clear study I bought XUV300 W8(O) D manual. I am really very happy. Driving in city and even in high way is amazing. Corner stability is super. Very easy gare shift and. easy clutch. Because of the all 4 wheal disc breaks we get amazing braking. XUV300 has a lots of futures and super Safety too. If you want to drive an international standard SUV in 15.5L (top end diesel on road) go to XUV300 W8(O) without any hesitation. If your budget is low go for W6.

Its due to Specific fuel consumption. If the gear shifting of XUV Petrol happens within the range of 1500 to 2000 RPM, XUV 300 would give you dreamy numbers of Mileage.

That's astonishing mileage from this petrol varient considering that its nearly brand new car plus you drove in mixed city & highway conditions.. Mileage will improve by 3rd servicing.. But very commendable driving by you

Its economy is far bttr than the competition..bcz it has turbo which kicks in at 2000 rpm ..agar 2000 se neeche chalaoge to it will act as a normal car which will give you good economy..or agar enthusiastic personality ho to ye wha bhi apko nirash nhi kregi .uts a fantastic machine

Seems to be a very sedative driving with gradual down press of accelerator. Need a lot of patience to do that and not everyone likes to drive like this to just achieve mileage..

I dont understand ppl concept of checking mileage run without full load that means check mileage run with 5ppl onboard and full luggage space that is called mileage test......not single person driving car sipping coffee with scenic beauties and at the end of the road saying so n so mileage come on man did we purchase car for single person or for family.....not happy with this mileage test run not at all convincing....

Mine delivers 22 to 25kmpl at 80kmph sometimes overtaking i rev the Accelerator. This is on Highways. Throughout my 10500kms i never got 20+ Kmpl Tank to Tank in laast 8months. W6 MT diesel ⛽

KM reading shown by car varies from manufacturer/model. Once we compared Tata Hexa , Tata Harrier and VW T Roc . Tata Hexa showed 34.9 , Harrier 34.1 and T Roc ~32.8 km. This is huge variance in such a short distance.

Dude, I too own XUV 300 W8 optional(petrol), switch on the AC button, that was just blower which you kept on, not the actual AC, average jyada heh milega aise, cz only blower is on, not AC

A little confused on what is being displayed on the screen. A bar in the fuel meter corresponds to 5.25 litres. (Tank capacity of 42L). And even after running 151km the first level fuel is not over. Which means it used less than 5.25 litres. Calculating gives us 151/5.25 = 28kmpl, which is dubious .

This is not correct! No chance! XUV 300 petrol will only give 10-11 in bumper to bumper traffic, 13-14 in normal road conditions and 15-17 on Highways! Moreover the right way to check the mileage is by doing a full tank to full tank test, the MID display is not accurate!

Bunny can turn any car to a mileage machine. I think alto/swift petrol would give him close to 30
