I'll still go for Nexon reasons: 1: better interiors and exteriors, thanks to J-LR inspiration 2: Good road presence 3: safety 4: value for money buy and how can I forget those Harman speakers🎵🎧

Dude i can literally mention 50 reasons to buy xuv300 over nexon or any compact suv. Nexon is surely a pretty nice car, but xuv300 is something else.

@@narendranandan2153 how unfunny! I love tractors, they are backbone of farmers. Don't forget xuv300 uses 1.5L geometric turbo diesel engine from marazzo which makes xuv300 refined as well as reliable, don't forget 300nm torque figures.

Its been a while since Mr. Faisal has appreciated a Mahindra and i can guarantee you that all that he has said at the end of the video is definitely gonna be true, this vehicle is a pure beauty and the Brezza has no match against the Xuv300 and I really don't know why the Brezza became so popular in the first place. #MahindraRise

Indian automobiles doing great job in providing quality products these days, be it Mahindta, Tata, TVS or even Royal Enfield (off lately with the twins 650). Now its time for Indian consumer to encourage the manufacturers through sales figure. As always phenooomenal review.

@@ALLINONE-it5chnexon is much attractive looking then this xuv300. Iska look brezza jaisa hi hai kaafi angel se but phir bhi brezza side or rear se isse achi hai. Or nexon head Turner hai xuv300 or nexon ko aamney saamney dekho nexon ka front dominating look hai muscular ekdum.

I don’t think this car is perfect. Nowadays companies are giving poor under thigh support so that legroom seems huge. The dashboard looks bit dated from today itself. And boot space, seriously Mahindra? Even WagonR has better boot space (now don’t bash me I not comparing WagonR with XUV300 😑). But seriously Mahindra has messed up a little. Instead of giving features they should have engineered well to extract more space like W-RV & their own Marazzo. I think it will be a good secondary car. But I will never recommend it as a primary car. Pain of having small bootspace is real & very underrated. 😂 Considering some audiophiles might also be looking for installing aftermarket Subwoofer.

What does define a segment...? I think a compact SUV must have: 1. nearly 200mm GC 2. upright seating & 3. space including boot definitely better than a premium hatchback XUV300 does not shine in any of the above. It may be called -a premium hatch with slightly bigger tyres & wheels and a upright SUV "nose".

It's GC is enough for indian roads it has longest wheelbase in its segment and space inside is also good ot lacks boot space because the Tivoli was to be shortened for being in sub 4 m in india

@@deeps193 I appreciate your views, but why spend more for same GC as Premium Hatch. Also what they have done with Tivoli is none of our interest; what we get is a mismash...Mahindras like this are going more in line with Chevy: some of Korea and some of China & India. When Giants are streamlining their platforms and engines, Mahindra is having multiple engines and platforms is same displacements and price brackets. Long term ownership/resale of Mahindra vehicles by individuals and Brand building for particular mahindra vehicle (just like Scorpio) is affected by such practices.

I *LOVE* the Nexon and I think it looks a bit better overall than this but a *BIG SALUTE* to Mahindra for making such a feature rich and safe car for such a reasonable price. Anand Mahindraji, take a bow. Indian manufacturers are giving foreigners like suzuki a run for its money, which is great news.

It will take no time in beating nexon and ecosport, it will slowly began to start eating the sales of brezza. 4 disc brakes as standard, tivoli platform, steering modes and performance will make it best seller. 300nm torque! Wtf even creta 1.6 gets just 259nm which have poor driving dynamics like all hyundai's. I feel it will effect creta 1.4 as well. What a car from mahindra

Well Nexon is only 11 bhp less and gives around 20kmpl so cost of running is less in Nexon even than brezza

@@ravidas4852 dude in diesel engines, torque matter way more than horse power. Xuv300 has 300nm torque which is 40nm more and xuv300 has lesser turbo lag, xuv300 is way more faster, and it is very refined as well

@@amit6844 i hope nexon survives. Xuv300 has ability to beat brezza and creta 1.4 in terms of sales, harrier will take on creta 1.6. I really hope tata won't do anything what they did to safari and hexa. Harrier is great car but sales depends on how much tata is serious about giving it right updates and more variants on time.

@@midhungopan9270 it's made in india. This isn't rebadged as tivoli exceeds 4m and xuv300 is suv 4m but with same wheelbase. It is designed by pininfarina amd tested in pininfarina wind tunnel for great driving dynamics. It will be a made in india product

Disclaimer : I am not a mahindra,motorbeam hater or a maruti,ford,tata fanboy. just my personal opinions. Also for viewers , plz dont give replies saying "support indian companies"," foul languages to me", "illogical statements". Really disappointed by your review. Zigwheels(Arun) & Cardekho (Kartik S.) reviews were miles ahead Things said by you based on paper specs rather than testing or critiquing it imo No mention of TCS safety feature present. @7:14 you say the rear space is decent,also mentioning the huge wheelbase. Arun & Kartik : honestly says that for 2600mm wheelbase rear is not that roomy. expectations were higher. Arun & kartik : points out that the front driver & passenger footwell is cramped.no space in driver footwell to rest your left foot,since no dead pedal also no space left after clutch. you say suspension setup is nailed by mahindra Arun & Kartik : points out suspension setup is on little softer side for good ride, but that little softness is felt during high speeds. You say that turbo lag is very well contained Kartik : points out that below 1500rpm, engine struggles to pull due to low torque at that point & thats why in city traffic you need to constantly changing gear & stay in lower gears to not stall the engine (same stalling nature was with marazzo). you say that engine is very refined,specially at idle & can only be heard when pushed hard Kartik : points out the engine refinement is below marazzo level, even vibrations are felt in the cabin during idle & in total nvh is below the marazzo level. @10:34 you just casually mention steering control mode acts like its names normal,comfort,sport. kartik : points out that the sport mode unnecessarily adds artificial weight to steering & its better to put it in comfort mode where there is good feedback & easy use. also @8:00 265L boot space ???? All reviewers : 257L also simply saying that xuv300 is the best car in the segment just because of features is misleading nexon has 209 mm GC, more boot space. Ecosport petrol has more power than xuv300, better interior quality. bare with me, one more thing on motorbeam insta page you recently are providing very wrong infos when creating a comparo graphics of cars & bikes(copying autos.maxabout style). i will point out few. in yamaha fzs you mentioned wrong weight 132kg vs actual weight 137kg verna vs city comparo pic . verna boot space is incorrect at 465L rather than 480L. (Favouring Honda City fanboys i see) many more wrong infos misleading comman people

Need bootspace man, just can't compromise on it, at least 350l for airport transfers and weekends, also side profile is quirky, in my opinion, brezza and ecosport strike the balance and still are the best in this segment.

Hey @Motorbeam, after the price cut recently, petrol costs 9.89 Ex-showroom and diesel costs 10.75. Is petrol worth buying considering 1.3 lakhs less than diesel on-road price. And how good is this petrol engine compared to it's rivals ?

Faisal Bhai... what happens to the front parking sensor, if and when, one is stuck in traffic. Will it start beeping continuously ? When does it get activated ?

It won't beep continuously, it beeps when something is very near.

A proper car, rather than cutting corners and/or on safety. Boot space is limited due to the design and constraints. I am happy that they sacrificed it rather than space between seats.

on motorbeam insta page you recently are providing very wrong infos when creating a comparo graphics of cars & bikes(copying autos.maxabout style). i will point out few. in yamaha fzs you mentioned wrong weight 132kg vs actual weight 137kg verna vs city comparo pic . verna boot space is incorrect at 465L rather than 480L. (Favouring Honda City fanboys i see) many more wrong infos misleading comman people either research properly or stop spreading misleading infos.

3 cyl Petrol engine is a bummer. No dead pedal is a bummer.... Apart from these two disadvantages, car is Masth looking... Will wait for Hyundai Carlino and Toyota Vitara Brezza
