ravi thapa I still own my 2009 E2 Xylo. I like it a lot. You won’t regret! Yes, it has body roll. I have reached max of 120 kmph. While cornering reduce it to 80 kmph.

I think new gen XUV500, scorpio would be bigger, wider more sporty and more luxurious than old gen. Just like cadillac escalade, Lincoln navigator, jeep grand cherokee, hyundai palisade and chevy suburban. Thar will also get more luxurious interior just like jeep wrangler

I'm from Manali and I have completed 189000 Kms in my xylo E8 and it is still running perfectly ! Condition Depends upon maintenance and also the driver ! Yeah there's a bit bodyroll due to its height but once the cabin is full it's performs really well! I disagree with Faisal because this car looks in bad condition and is not well maintained so don't judge xylo on the basis this car.!

I don't trust Autocar just bcoz they get money from manufacturers and say only good things about shit vehicles same is the case of xylo. The innova was, is, and always will a workhorse and will never have any engine issues and will outlast it's owners. Don't think xylo can top that as well as be as comfortable, reliable, premium as innova.

I own 2012 Mahindra Xylo E8 model, It`s a perfect family car, it`s the best car than all MUV in India. The looks of 2012 Xylo are stylish and beautiful and is strong. The captain seats in the middle row give more luxuries and royal look to it. This is mahindra`s only car which I like the most. Today too it looks as a new car after travelling more than 1,00,000 km. Marazzo on the other hand cannot beat Xylo infact no car can beat Xylo. Mahindra should have launched a new modified Xylo 2018 than marazzo. I don`t feel to sell it as all my thoughts are hidden in it.

Finally the mighty Xylo!!! This brought a huge smile on my face 😍.. thank you Faisal!!! Upgraded to a Marazzo m8 from Xylo e8!! Still hold a lot of memories of this car!! Like the Xylo carrying 11 passengers from Mumbai to Goa n back i.e 5 adults and 6 kids+teenagers!!

I know that the marazzo has a smaller 1.5L engine as compared with the 2.5L of the Xylo, and also at the same time the Marazzo produces 121bhp compared to the 112bhp and 300nm of torque as compared to the 245nm on the Xylo. And plus the Marazzo is around 350kgs lighter than the Xylo which further improves engine performance!!! Yes I did love the meagle engine as well but when u drive the Marazzo u won't even tell that it's a diesel engine much more refined and no internal cabin vibrations!!

I own a 2009 September Xylo. I am still keeping it with me. Yes, the car has lot of body roll still all I need is a family car which can carry 8 adult and 2 kids. It serves the purpose. I agree that it looks ugly and aerodynamic design sucks but the engine is a beauty. I have clocked 120 km/hr max but while cornering I downshift to 80 km/hr. Everyone in my family is very closely attached to the car.

We use Xylo as Office Cab. Air Conditioning and Suspension are damm good. Even in hot summer day AC is working brilliantly. Xylo is great till 70-80kmph. Though I agree it has ugly interior & exterior, it's a great people mover with 5 people. Though 3rd row is good but it lacks thigh support and 3rd row people can't seat comfortably during long trips.

Please. Don`t tell. I own 2012 Xylo E8 variant and it`s so spacious like sitting in a bus. Not only space but also I easily had fit my Electric Bike with 4 suitcases and 12 big hand bags. We go on long trips even my grandparents like my car.

The Xylo was facelifted in the 2012, the design got much better. The engine was the 2.2 litre Mhawk one which was the fastest MPV in the segment back then. The body roll was well contained with additions to the suspension called the Extra Stability Tech which reduced the Body roll a lot. But the highlight was the brilliant engine and space always. I Think you should have reviewed that one to know more. You just happened to review this as Durga car Decors had it and t'was easier to get your hands on.

In Arunachal Pradesh and many Northeast India, this car is used as a commercial vehicle for long journeys. It carries 9 passengers plus a driver. It is spacious and smoother than Tata Sumo.

I own a Storme and had a 3L Dicor before that ( I am mentioning this to give you some background of where I am coming from), but apart from these two, my friend's Xylo is the 3rd best truck-like UV that I love driving on long trips. I know it's not refined like Innova but it gives that king of the road feeling like Safari because of the tall seating. Even the Scorpio doesn't give me that feeling.

I have Experienced This Mahindra Xylo for a Long Drive of 300kms Patiala To Manali back in 2011. Ride Quality was Bumpy; Ample Comfort; Seats had Great Legroom and Headroom. AC had excellent Cooling. And the 2.5 L M-Eagle Diesel was very reliable yet Refined motor pumping out 115ps of power and 240 Newton metres of Twisting Force mated to a Notchy shifting 5 Speed Manual Gearbox 😅 🔥🔥🔥

Body roll is definitely there, But that makes it a very comfortable car at low speeds and bad roads. I once have experienced it for few hundred kms and i was happy with the ride quality and comfort levels.

This car isn't cheap for the quality it provides... We owned this car... Absolutely bad quality interiors, exteriors and mechanicals. AC fails very often... The suspension had to be reworked at 30k kms... Servicing cost is also very high... Body roll was massive with zero handling dynamics... We finally sold it and got the Figo Blu TDCi and its supremely fun and exciting...

2 cars are best in mahindra. the 1st one is xuv500 and scorpio😇. I love it both of cars.

Bro,dont change to 1st gear on running.It is harmful for the car and also the gear wont change to 1st when running,thats why your gear didnot change to 1st gear.

took 2 cars to ratnagiri on windy roads one xylo and a tavera had to switch cars in the first 35 minutes departing from mumbai, i have a strong gut but still had to switch!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2nd generation was much better interms of road holding and body roll. MM changed the suspension geometry and added better anti-roll bars for more control.

I have Xylo D4 2016 model, completed 154500 kms, till date no any problem faced, excellent 3rd row space, easy to drive. Best family car, i don't know how many kms you drove the car? Don't make reviews by driving few kms.

Eventhough you people making fun of this car, more and more XYLO can be seen in public transportation all over India. XYLO is completely made by keeping Indian people in mind
