To those commenting about dashing methods, yes I am aware of them and almost added them to the video but cut it because I didn't like that literally everything I tried with dashing was inconsistent, so I left it out and instead am waiting for tze to just fix it. every little method I tried like jumping and whatnot just never worked everytime and yielded far too inconsistent results for me to add and risk getting something wrong, so instead I took the safest option and left it out I didn't want to cover all the weird inconsistent ways that you can make dashes better, so thanks to any commenters who give advice but no dash method is always going to be consistent Also English subtitles are available for this video! It's my first time making them so do excuse any small mistakes
Speaking of dash methods, I had no clue of the frontdash + jump combination that allowed building scaling. Possibly intended ngl… Either way, Mahoraga’s wall-hopping has become a lot more consistent in the past few updates (usually I could only do one reliably but now I can do them just as easily as with any other character), but I guess the frontdash thing would be faster and funnier to catch people off guard with.
mahoragas front dash changes if you look in a different direction for a second, basically the game thinks you're trying to go around a block, so it makes the dash longer
Finally, the long awaited Mahoraga guide…IT’S HERE! No complaints, perfect down to the minute details. You really do deserve more popularity, I dig the editing style that you go for, introducing the characters with a cinematic and then diving in on them. You actually teach me things and most of the time I don’t really get any of that from guides, it’s just the same thing I already know. You should really do more guides on JJS and maybe even release some gameplay if you’re feeling burnt out (just don’t run into the pole). Can’t wait to see what you release next!
As someone whose seen your meg guide, the way I play has SERIOUSLY changed, and meg became my favorite to olay with his sick and devastating combos. Despite the hate I get for playing a "no skill char" I have a lot of fun. I already know this is gonna change my whole perspective on Mahoraga, and hopefully tips for defense as it feels like wasted potential when I play him. I can never fully utilize it.

I LOVE your editing style and how silly and simplistic it is- with a hint of that generic editing style from other RU-vidrs, but it’s not as overwhelming. It’s great!! The research that went in this video is also just… wow. I can tell you’ve done a CRAP load of effort and analyzation into Mahoraga’s moves, character, and skills. Some super random things I’ve noticed too - THE CHALKBOARD. I LOVE THE CHALKBOARD. I’M YELLING BECAUSE THE CHALKBOARD IS GREAT - Did you do legit math?? 😭 PURE dedication bro omg (I’m referring to the percentages- OHMYGOSH and the timing for co. characters’ healing rates in contrast to Mahoraga- it’s great!!) - Ooh also I just really like the subtle “effects” that you’ve implemented in the video, such as the little exclamation point and the colorful icons that pop up for Mahoraga’s halo in the “Passive” chapter! - In the “Ground Pitch” chapter, I thought it was nice that you used the legit JJS map :)) - It was PROBABLY-most-DEFINITELY intentional but I love all the camera angles and shots- TRULY a cinematic masterpiece. Your work is an inspiration. - I ADORE the little Gojo/Megumi art direction thingy during the “Takedown” chapter, very cutesy to me! - 13:22 That animation is so cool✨ I’m very sorry I can’t comment much on the moves and tips you’re giving because I genuinely do not play this game, but watching these videos are very entertaining and this guide will MOST DEFINITELY help someone improve in the game
Yeah I know. I’m so glad he actually gives credit to things so people don’t pull their hair out in anger not being able to find the music if they like it. A lot of youtubers are kinda lazy with these guides (not all though) or just don’t do them at all… WAIT YOU SHOULD DO TIER LISTS SILO…yes you may get into some “arguments” but I think it’d be cool to see what you think on that stuff. Unfortunately a lot of jjs youtubers do not see the value in tierlists bro 😭 I actually don’t understand them not doing it, people love watching that stuff, if not just to hate on the youtubers opinions (maybe as jokes).

Before anyone comes asking for other character guides, just know megumi is one of the most complex characters in the game. A guide for someone like Hikari (ew) would just be combos.
@@StarstruckAries I did discuss this with another commenter, did try this but sadly wasn't totally consistent which believe me I tried FOREVER to find a consistency to dashing
