Malaysian Mahseer (Empurau) is one of the most expensive freshwater fish in the world. Dated in 2015, A Farm Agrotech Sdn Bhd together with the collaboration from Department of Fishery (DOF) Malaysia, we are able to artificially produce the fish fry under captive environment. Besides, we also formulated a fruit-based fish diet to enhance the flesh quality of cultured Empurau. Empurau fish is one of the main focus of DOF Malaysia to promote it as the premium food fish for international market.
