तृणमूल कांग्रेस की सांसद महुआ मोइत्रा संसद में विपक्ष की एक अहम आवाज़ के रूप में नज़र आती हैं. उनके तेज़ तर्रार भाषण अक्सर चर्चा में रहते हैं. पिछली लोकसभा में महुआ मोइत्रा की संसद सदस्यता चली गई थी, लेकिन इस साल वो दोबारा चुनाव जीतकर लोकसभा पहुंची हैं. ऐसे में वो पश्चिम बंगाल के हालात, प्रधानमंत्री मोदी और नेता प्रतिपक्ष राहुल गांधी के बारे में क्या सोचती हैं. महुआ हाल ही में कलेक्टिव न्यूज़रूम के ऑफ़िस में आई थीं, यहां उन्होंने बीबीसी के लिए काम करने वाले तमाम पत्रकारों से बातचीत की और उनके सवालों के जवाब भी दिए. ये बातचीत 1 अगस्त 2024, दिन गुरुवार को रिकॉर्ड की गई थी.

MP Mahua Moita is a leader who has faced a vicious campaign by the troll army of the rightwing. On a very flimsy ground, she was expelled from the parliament. People are still not convinced why she was expelled. She is reelected by the people. Her presence in the parliament has reddened the faces of many of her political opponents. She is very articulate and speaks with full preparation and conviction. I wish we had more such parliamentarians in India.
