This melody is very close to "Can't hide love" creative source and earth, wind and fire. Wonder if there is anything to that. So close that you can even the EWAF lyrics over this and it fits perfectly

This one is the right speed, the other ones on youtube are recorded from a faulty record player and they are playing too fast which makes it like half a semitone off.

One thing that I feel people could tap into so much more as rap artists if they spoke Japanese is the specific emotion and topic of the song to bring out more feeling to audiences that don’t speak the language. What people don’t know a lot of the time is that the lyrics aren’t simply depressing. They’re bittersweet with bad feelings and euphoric with good feelings. It’s an optimistic sound in the 80s with music in Japan. More in the 2010s and recent years, it’s a lot more depressing because people are more depressed now, but back then, it was the time of your life. My Japanese professor worked in the same office as one of the most popular Japanese singers in the 90s, and she said the same thing too. I’m telling you, The sounds of Hip-Hop and City Pop can literally change the world with the right words behind the tracks.

Conheci City Pop há dois anos e me pergunto onde diabos eu estava que não conheci antes. Quantas joias perdidas e subestimadas. Harmonia, groove, feeling, lágrima a cada descoberta.
I need to ask if someone, if by any chance, feel that this song has the vibes of PS1 game called "Tenchu". I listened all the OST from Tenchu 1 to Tenchu 4 and I confirm there's not a single a City Pop song in the game but I still feel an association with the game. Can't explain it properly why. Composer from Tenchu is Noriyuki Asakura. Don't know who is the producer for Mai Yamane.
“TASOGARE" (Twilight) MAI YAMANE Lyrics : Yu Morishita, Music Composition :Kintaro Nakamura Arranged by Makoto Matsushita (AB's) Released on May 25, 1980 (Rough English translation of Japanese lyrics) Can't you see that I'm always there for you? I left a trace of my warmth in your heart I told you that I can't be nice to you all the time for no reason. Words can masquerade as pretenses, so I don't think they're that important. We've managed to keep it together, haven't we? How do you think we've lasted this long? Let's try it again. Just a little more. Trust me again. I don't want to go back to the past even once. You'll understand how I feel and just smile and let me go, won't you? We can't go back to the way we were. A man goes on a journey alone, exposing his heart to the cold wind outside We've managed to keep it together, haven't we? How do you think we've lasted all this time? Let's try it again. Just a little more. Trust me one more time. Ahh I see, so you got it directly from the album right? It's weird if this is the real pitch, 'cause I've been hearing it at the wrong pitch almost the entire time I've known this song lol.

Wow I actually prefer the higher pitched ones, someone's Turntable needs to readjust the speed probably recorded off the belt-driven table. That Turntable imperfection made the song sound better than it actually is! Really to some comment out there said that why CD version sound so much cleaner well maybe you all got used to hear an old wearing out Vinyl rip on youtube Get a copy that's in great condition and Vinyl will sound as clean.
