I wanted a Hobbyking Paramotor for a while, and this maiden was disappointing. Im glad I was able to experience it in the air and will probably play with is a little more in the future!

Great clip to show the real problems most new paramodel pilots will experience. Paramodels are slow flyers. Best times to motor around when the breeze is 3-4kt maximize. Adding weight can increase speed but only to a point. You can add more weight and then have to increase throttle to the point you are hovering in a 7kt breeze and the motor is at 3/4 throttle isn't fun. Keep in mind the angle of the chassis when suspended below may create increased brakeline tension. Increasing the nose down chassis angle was unintentionally pulling some brake. Hope you have better flights next time you give it a try.

from my understanding you want the front wheel to be pointing a little up which for most RC planes would indicate tailheavy, so its counter intuitive

Put some thrust vectoring on the fan like a fanboat, and it will work much better.

You cannot fly those things in any kind of wind. If you fly them into a breeze they will climb,

Fo shoooo! Don't be me. I have fun crashing lol I still have this thing. Flown it a bunch. Not really my style. It's slow and nimble and fun to watch in the air. But that's about it.....
