That plane will eat the bigfoot for lunch. Flys more like a timber when you get on it. Awesome overlooked plane.

The Kingfisher is a nice plane and really a good all-around flier. I like that it comes with floats and ski's, I don't know how much I would use the ski's but the floats would be nice since several clubs in my area have float events in the summertime.

Well you said in your build video you never check to see if the servos are centered before hooking up your control rods and maybe the Elevator was off? After I bind a plane I always visually check the Ailerons, Rudder, Elevator and Flaps (If it has them) to make sure their level so you don't need to Trim much if any. Looks like a Nice Bird.

I am still fairly new to the hobby, I bought a Hobbyzone cub S2.1 as my first plane. I bought a Radiomaster boxer as my first transmitter. I flew the cub 2 times, I could never get the Spektrum receiver to fully work with my transmitter. I gave the cub to my 12-year-old son, he has a Spektrum transmitter. My second plane was the Kingfisher. I was able to get the Kingfisher out today for the first time my third time fly without simulator aero 8. Long story short with the proper receiver, the V2 controller, this plane is really fun to fly. So far, the Kingfisher is defiantly on my top 1 list. I was landing on a dirt road and had no problem with bouncing.

Great maiden, I need to sort out the the elevator trim but she flew just fime, I am just a little anal about trim being perfect.

U can always boil the tires (foam) for 2 minutes, but after 20 or so landings in grass, they DO soften up. Try a 4s/2200 + 12x5 wood or 12x6 apc propeller. Box stock, 4s 2200 u can get at least 6 minutes fly time. Swap the prop & get 8 minutes. Handles 20+ mph winds as well as any plane double the money.

Hi What receiver do you use please and can you suggest spectrum as my transmitter is dx9

I've got one that I got right when they came out years ago! It didn't have the reflex gyro and thrust reverse then but I put a 630 in it so I have as3x and safe but I never use the safe!

Recommendation on nicer, softer tires anyone?

Greg, what kind of badge is on that box? Former Security Police?

Does it have air tires?

Mine needed down trim but I was only using a 2200 pack!
