My spirituality video all about the triple Goddess archetype and how we relate to this as women. The three phases of womanhood are Maiden, Mother, Crone. The Maiden is represented as a young woman gathering experience. Personally I prefer to liken this to PRINCESS energy. She can be likened to a New Moon. The Mother is a sexual, adult woman with a kingdom to run aka the QUEEN, and reminds us of a Full moon. The Crone is represented by an older woman who truly represents a woman in the seat of her full power and free from outside boundaries or illusions aka the wise woman/ witch / healer radiating GODDESS energy, and the Dark moon. The Crone is the most vilified for being the original independent woman, but we can learn a lot from her experience when we do not hide her away, she is the gateway to the life and death cycle. Which one are you? What energy do you have? This is about knowing ourselves and feminine empowerment.
The patriarchy encourage a divide between the phases and that women that they have the most value in Maiden and to stay there and never accomplish all three phases, but we gain the most power from uniting with each other through the phases of femininity and growing as women. This concept is ancient and the Triple Goddess is often worshipped in Pagan and Wiccan circles and is also something that all women relate to. She is figure-headed by the Greek Goddess Hecate.
