Dartford players did the same and celebrated in front of our fans when they won the cup match a few weeks ago. They were giving it back. Only reason they did it.
@@charliecroker7380 I'm explaining why they did it, I didn't say I agreed with it. It was started by Barham - Darts fans are always going on about how useless he was for them so I guess in the heat of the moment he got carried away. Doesn't excuse the other players from joining in rather than pulling him away I suppose.
Jack had a great game.... but think how many more may have gone in if they had squared it to him a little more often considering the space he had. Great job lads
Great win for the Stones, but I don't like the provocative celebrations in front of the away supporters. You're always going to get some of their number reacting in the way they did and of course, you see the younger supporters copying their lead. That is not the sort of example we need in football, whatever the provocation - still a good win though.
Their players did the same to us when they won the FA Cup match so our players were extracting revenge. I guess you could argue two wrong's don't make a right but I'm just saying that's why they did it.
@@Wally-H You're quite right, but Charlie has mentioned it - keeping it classy. Let's take the moral high ground and not sink to the depths others think appropriate.
@@liambushen2377 I wouldn't say they are weird - bitter more like. Even the young supporters there most likely know the story of how Jim Thompson dragged their club down with ours back in 1992 and it's never been forgotten. This is a deep-seated rivalry that will never go away.
