From Maiko dressing in Kyoto 2010.
This is originally filmed while traveling for our own purpose, so my friend and I are both talking in Norwegian. (sorry)

I'm half Japanese and was born in Japan as well as lived there for several years, there is nothing wrong with you doing this. it's a fun experience everyone should try regardless of skin color or what country you come from.

@ashleystarfun Price was just under 10000 yen for a maiko dressing with 20 digital photos, or fewer printed ones. If you go into the english part on this page: yumekoubou.info you will find information on prices and programs as well as locations with the studio I used. ;)
