@@KonnerColehouse it can be _very_ difficult depending on how much experience you may have in that field. Don’t immediately assume that because something might come easier to you, it’ll be just as easy for everyone else. Everything takes time, and practice.
@@dsuniqueyea bc she running into the sht, u don’t have to run into it like that, boat will most likely stay the same speed so u can slowly step onto it
Amazon would probably deliver it to the wrong boat pier, on the wrong side of the harbour, if at all......and photograph some random pier to 'prove' its delivery...
Somehow, I see myself slipping and getting left by the boat, soaking wet sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the tide roll away 😂 Edit: Thanks for the love, glad y’all could laugh with me 😂🌝💜🧡❤️💛
I used to live in Lake Geneva WI and this is the way they deliver the mail to the houses by the lake. I know people did that as summer job! Very cool! I wonder if is Lake Geneva because it does have Lake something in her shirt! Loved it!
@@dumtree3727 it's because it's something weird, very out of the ordinary. Not necessarily because it's "impressive" (which can mean a trillion different things depending on what the viewer thinks of a impressive)
Can we please actually appreciate these people because they run there and back multiple times a day and sometimes missed the boat which they can get fired for
@@des8679ail jumper. It typically is a summer job, as nowadays there is no real need for the mail jumpers other than upholding a tradition and attract tourists. However, historically, mail jumping was the only means to deliver mail to these Houses/Piers because there were no roads leading to the residents. There are several videos on the topic, if youre interested, and there also is a wiki page for it. I really enjoyed Tom Scotts video on it
@@Queenofswords111nobody is talking about swimming towards it, they’re talking about the possible chances the girl in the video accident slips and falls between the gap when jumping, then getting squished. Obviously it’s not going to be intentional, nor do they want to be in that scenario… but it can happen.
Worked at a pizza shop once, some people called in with a question, they wanted a pizza delivered to a place but it was outside of the deliver region. They wanted to know where they could have it delivered, we let them know where our region ended, and they hung up. Not a minute later we got a delivery to a geo location that 1) was right on the edge of where we delivered, and 2) was in the middle of the canal. We called em back to confirm, and yes, it was them, they said to have someone come to the dock and they'd be there in about 20 mins from then. They were on a friggin boat. I had the pleasure of driving out to hand it to them, they tipped me 5 whole euros. Amazing day Edit: similar story from a colleague, they were asked to deliver to the nearby train station, platform number and time specified. He waited and a train arrived, dude looked around to see a kid standing in an open train door going "oi you got my pizza??" He ran up to hand it to him, got tipped handsomely and the train drove off again. Dutch people are wild man Edit: there's a troll in the comments, stop giving them attention guys, but ty
She’s a runner she’s a track star edit: damn, how many likes? 💀 edit 2: about 3 days ago i had 2.5k likes.. luckily i dont have to count and youtube just does it 4 me
The delivery guy could have stood closer 💀💀 Edit: y'all in the comments, if there was no delivery guy, at least the mail box should have been built closer if it is made for "jumping off the ship" purpose 🔫 There are more vids where the mailbox is much closer so
I think its for safety bc if she tripped, she could’ve hit the boat and get hurt. So they leave a gap so if they miss they would fall into the water instead. Honestly though im not sure but also water seems pretty bad too
Its harder than it sounds passing thing from dock to boat. Admittedly this boat, based on the wake, could be moving a little slower. But even then, if it didn't work out, soggy mail is no fun, nor is jumping in after it, I imagine.
