Put a diode in series with the 5v regulators 0V reference pin, to raise its output voltage by the diode drop, to compensate for drop through the polarity protection diode.

maybe one day I can emulate one of your jams. maybe I would start by setting up a bunch of electronic droning background stuff and then play something over it with a fake replica for a few bars through a looper and then go back to modifying the electronic stuff and see what the hell happens. Side question, are you planning to do any more of those periodic coffee talk updates? I’m not sure if I watched all of them yet but I found them interesting. Maybe I should be actually commenting on one of those videos right?

@@GadgetReboot Thank you for the kind words!! :D all you need to emulate what I (and many others do) is figure out how to sequence ... looping is indeed another viable option but it is more of a voyeuristic approach contrasted with the pre-meditative thought process of developing sequences ahead of time. As for coffee talk updates ... I would like to but I don't have the right environment for them currently. You are not the only one who has requested more of them so ... perhaps soon in the future. :)

@GadgetReboot it took me forever. I bet when you do arpeggios you use your first 3 fingers ehh? I had to unlearn it then relearn when to do it where I have a warped pinky. Haha. Learn the minor harmonic scale. Learn a part a day. It'll completely change your way to pick. If you took me up on my offer I could show you the warm-ups I learned on rock discipline years ago. It's hard as the dickens at first but I would do it watching TV not thinking about it and it builds dexterity and proper string jumping

can anyone help I am looking for a range of resistors with thick leads. This is so that they are easy to use with breadboards.

Normally 1/4 watt will do. The 1/6 1/8 watt are kind of dicey in breadboards, but I just up the wattage and they're fine.

1/2 watt resisters are my favorite for breadboarding. Easy enough to find a variety pack. 1amp diodes have good legs (like these 1n5817). Little glass ones are a hassle. Have often wondered about the ideal gauge for breadboard round wire jumps. My favorite is 22awg. 24 works. Higher is too small IMHO.

Hey brother. Can you resend the email. New phone and they're all deleted for some reason. Ive been looking at their guitars for a while. Theres some real nice ones. They have that beautiful purple one. I have a set of pickups you might like. Duncans. Alpha and omegas Im getting a headless one from china. 8 string. If that stays in tune then its better than a rral gibson.
