@user-yf3zm5bm9e I'm hoping he can be the slot guy because that's his best fit still imo and those dudes are so valuable if you gave a good one. Most ability as a run defender out of him, Darnay, and Flott. More man coverage ability than Darnay and without the big coverage busts Flott has. He's the most complete solid highest level slot we have if he can be on the field Maybe if he's on the outside though there is less injury risk Just praying he can contribute
@@rjharrold2907 Yes we need slot cb. Flott can't play run and Holmes is good but not for all situations. We will pbly draft outside cb so if Robinson is in shape maybe he wins slot cb.

🔥 mailbag bros!😂 I truly feel we need to press the issue almost at all costs and trade up for Maye or JD5 (if Daboll loves 1)...but if we can't execute a trade up from 6 for some reason I would try to end up with Odunze at 6 and Penix later (if Daboll loves him) after a trade up back into mid-bottom rd1. Rattler or Milton are decent later on as projects but that's really a PUNT on the QB1 situation this year and we'll just have to revisit a future rd1 to solve this problem...only with more desperation and likely more L baggage if we don't go [DEFCON 1] this year for QB1 in rd1
Huge fan of the show. Love the synergy and energy as well as fresh perspective. Perhaps a question for a future mailbag. Why didn’t the giants sign Russel Wilson? He automatically upgrades their qb room. Plus let him compete for a staring job versus DJ. Giants can still add a qb via draft and let him sit for a year. Ty

Not taking a QB, and instead strengthening the weak spots on the team (I think they shouldn't trade up, as it will eat their draft picks) ... 2. Follow '1' and take a QB Late, like Rattler, or Milton ... take the one who can read Defenses, and can move WITHIN the pocket ... ! 3. Stick with 1 or 2 ...
Appreciate u guys taking my question Oline and I totally agree with you. I commend Schoen for attempting to fix it, but Giants have spent a ton of draft capital and it’s been the worst in league. It’s really crippled this franchise and especially Neal being a disaster. No where to go but up, and I probably won’t believe it’s improved until I actually see it. Seems impossible and I hope I’m wrong but I think our offense might end up being worse than last year.
Simmons platoon with McFadden where Simmons comes in on passing downs really started paying off. Simmons/McFadden had as many tackles and TFLs as Okereke. Simmons needs to consentrate on ILB. Arizona screwed him up by moving him all over, He is figuring out ilb, leave him there to improve his play recognition and cover TEs and RBs which is becoming elite.

Dak isn’t a upgrade. We don’t want the 50 million cap hit for Jones next year we’ll guess what Dak is going to want 55-60. He’s always played behind a above average offensive line, a 1000 yard receiver and 1000 yard running back. 2 playoff wins I’m sorry Jones isn’t better but Dak isn’t that good he’s probably the most overrated quarterback and if he wasn’t on the Cowboys he’d be looked at as a average quarterback. Dak is the biggest stat padding quarterback in history half his stats come in garbage time
I'm not concerned about wins. I think we have the right GM, and a really good HC. But wins are the only easy to demonstrate we moving in the right direction. People ready to get rid of table after last year,. What do you think they'll do if they win three games next year. Sure they'll be in position to get a quarterback but it won't be with Shane and Abel.

That is the reason I said the Giants should sit Jones this season. It's not if Jones gets hurt it's when. Sit his ass pick the QB in the first round and start the season with Luck and the paisano.
Giants have been getting dominated by 2nd round - undrafted QBs within the division for a decade+ yet callers want to draft another QB early 1st round like the Jets do every few years 😆…the Giants have become the Jets!
Daboll groomed rd1 QB Josh Allen (which Buffalo traded up TWICE to acquire) into #2 QB in NFL...you don't want to try and duplicate that?! Our roster won't be good enough for YEARS to try to compete with a later round QB like Eagles, Cowboys, or 49ers do. Getting [Daboll] a top-tier QB is quickest route out of oblivion.
