In this video we will see details about different types of mailboxes in Exchange Server 2013 and in Exchange Server 2016.

Arbitration Mailbox
User Mailbox
Archive Mailbox

Equipment Mailbox
Discovery Mailbox

Is it required these arbitration mailboxes to be disabled from active directory??

By default the arbitration/system mailboxes were in disabled state only. These mailboxes are utilized by Exchange Server as per the function of each arbitration mailbox.

@@computingnerd2197 do we have to enable them.? I'm getting an error with system attendant on a mailbox .. I found arbitration mailboxes are in disabled state , should I enable them?

@@arnabsom3251 the arbitration mailboxes are always in disable state only. Please share the error, will try to resolve your issue.
