I remember back in the day, at our University league, we had 2 african players for a couple of years in our team, we won e-fucking-verything... the explosivity, the acceleration, creativity made the whole league look really minor. and it was so contagious and enjoyable.
I am an African myself (north Africa)and played with the team at the University of Illinois. I used to receive calls from different teams so I can switch but I enjoyed playing with Illini. They liked my style. I used to score at every game, no jokes. The best part, our sponsor a Mexican restaurant named La Bamba would offer us free meals for every game won. We learn Football in the streets, not in the clubs. You become very intuitive.
i find having skills very usefull in footbal it just depend on how you use them, maybe if the tournament organiser could come up with strategies to force the players to use their skills in a positive way we can have the best football. South Africa is talented in football but the management fail to use them instead they dont like people with skills but they want to play samba you cant play samba if you do not have ronaldhino, neymaar and the likes. I was gud in football in primary but i had one problem, I was thin so they were judging me on that. "HE IS GUD BUT HE IS SMALL" thats what they used to say. I told myself that FUTSEK i won't be a football star it doesn't matter how gud I am and focused on my scul studies and i also did well.

Because coaches of professional clubs consider them clowns. Judging by attendance here, it's pretty clear South Africans enjoy watching this type of football. SA football used to be like this until European coaches discovered SA football and eliminated it at professional level. Local coaches have followed suit. As a result of rigid football played by our professional clubs, attendances are not good.
