I'm laughing so hard I have tears running down my cheeks watching you toss things down the hole. You are absolutely my favorite follow on this entire platform. Thank you for bringing us into your world
I definitely like your lazer, Andris! All you need and it’s accurate too! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 please take it easy on yourself brother, I know you’re younger than me but you have a future with your family to look forward too, my friend! Don’t end up like me, old and half crippled and not being able to enjoy your grandchildren! Taking care of yourself is for your girls, that’s the way I look at it! You’re an amazing craftsman and really motivated to get things accomplished and we enjoy your content, but we still care about your health as a father and husband! 👍🏻 It’s looking good brother, you always get a lot accomplished on every project you do! We appreciate you sharing your projects with us through Utube! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yo, my grandpa used to use a rotary rasp blade on his angle grinder to remove bark iirc. Also, I'm always happy to see you use the ATV, I wish I had one. Have a great weekend!
10:30 It seems to me that it's a Lucznik sewing maching with the Tur motor. Those will run forever, they are a famous piece of equipment here in Hungary. My mother still has hers and it works!
the way you supported the last 2 beams all the weight will push on the wall , i think you should put at least one post under the main beam maybe a inverted L from the wall to the underside of the main beam if you don't want to lose space on the ground floor
Andris. Can you move into the cabin? That seems reasonable given all the work you put in PLUS the main house is full of women and apprentice women. NIGHTMARE!
You should winch the walls back together. Then use steel cables to hold them from seperating again. You can then use the posts coming down to help suspend the floor beams from the roof and the load will carry down to the cables. Because the A frame roof will try separate.
Hi ants funny story about old buildings. When I was young my grandfather told me they used to use a bottle. They would lay the bottle sideways on the beam and line up the liquid in the bottle with the ocean. Then he said when the bottle was empty everyone went home. LOL
I'm having fun working out the timeline of your videos. Looking in the background I could see stuff that wasn't in the same position in previous episodes. Time to look for stuff that's going to be in upcoming episodes.
A tree log that's cut down to size would fix that issue. Not to mention be sturdier than the hollow board plus having something to nail.,or screw into is a lot easier to. It's also helps support and strengthen up the entire building structure that way as we'll in the process.
a tipp for your storage containers, cut them completely open and install some hinges in the back and some locking straps in the front, will make it way much easier to empty them. now when you found ammo you definately need to buy a gun to where those fit. thats the law of nature ;)
You forgot to put a bathroom in your plans. Re: fire blocking. All the way to the top. There's a housing complex near here where they didn't fire block the attic. Nearly every fire spread from house to house because of the lack of fire blocking. Look up Little Turtle near Westerville/New Albany, Ohio for more info.
Hey ants pants you need one of those kids shower and bathtub toys hanging nets. To use your trailer as wood net also. That has Bungie cords straps to secure them and with. That is been sewed onto the netting and ratchet straps to stay secured to the netting and straps as one unit.
Have you ever taken that board out and making A identical one? To hold it into place while you water soak that other board in water good. laying other flat boards across the bend in it to weight down.,an restraighten them out with. By adding wooden clamps with metal rubber coated bit teeth plates and wedges.
Yes this big glass (we called it ballon) it's useable to make great home Vine and Polish sewing machine from "Łucznik" weapon facility in Radom. Always when someone finds that artefacts im in nostalgic mood. Not because im a cryptovomunist but because that things is a kind of historical witness of times when our grandparents and parents live. And they had totally other problems and chellenges then we have now. And times for them wasn't easy like now... You must be very young person but i still have "freedom human chain" between Litva, Latvia and Estonia when comunist system was near to colapse. Im sorry i can't better explain my feelings when i see that things.... Greetings from Poland also touched by soviet occupation almost 60 years....
Those spruce boards that you claimed were eaten by bugs might be okay if the bugs were only near the bark. These are different kind of bugs that only eat bark and some layers directly below it and do not touch the structural wood itself. Spruce is usually quite resistant to bugs, unlike alder that definitely can have bugs that eat them inside out and the entire thing just turns to dust eventually. It's surprising you don't have a problem with them on untreated alder...
On the RU-vid do it and be different farmily they have live edge ceilings and on one of their latest videos they said they should of put finish on all sides of board as the worm does not like finish Very productive video looking great
