I just watched this and started tearing up. Brawl was a huge part of my childhood and I am thankful for all the hard work Sakurai has put into all of his games. Thank you for this awesome remix!!!
Brawl is one of the most favorited smash games in the universe, i just hope they will add a story thats actually in the plot with this game. And not starting some random plot about the darkness and the light, also this could have been the Brawl intro.
@judith2010able he is wrong on so many levels, this doesn't trigger us, brawl is hands down the best one due to it's feels, how it conveys a story and how charactors interact with each other, they actually capture their behaviours and actions perfectly and how accurate each character is on their own, brawl has the best story aswell cause of how it conveys it to the player on how master hand wants to consume the world in his void but ended up awakening the true darkness which was tabuu
Master Hand is the playful spirit of a growing boy who wants to play with his toys, but is being controlled by Tabuu, who is the spirit of "adulthood" and being enforced by stereotypes, such as "grown men don't play with toys" and such. Happily, the power of creativity would prevail.

Great mashup, really flawless Except at 1:30 trumpets threw me off a bit but not bad after that. Another thing, by the end at 2:13 the music box segment was too sudden but not bad

Because people posted the cut-scenes from Brawl online so people can watch those instead of playing the games themselves. Sakurai said he didn't want the same thing to happen to Smash 4 if it had a story mode, so he decided to not have one and instead make animated videos for the trailers, announcing new challengers. Tokaku Seryuu its because brawl was originally Ssbb was going to be the brawl to end them all the last smash game so they added as Much 3rd party characters and a awesome story mode and sweet music to end it all but then sakuri just said fuck it and revived ssb and that’s why we don’t have a story mode
So, understanding from what the cutscenes showed was that Master Hand (representing the child) is being held back by anxiety (Tabuu). Master Hand breaks free from Tabuu with only a little anxiety left. Due to this (past) anxiety, the child is afraid to increase his toy count (roster). But doesn't give up and eventually gathers then all together with new toys aswell. The child ages as the game ages.
