LOL, yep. We have an orange tabby that does the same thing. In the morning I'll open the curtains and ask him if he wants to see his "bird friends." He always does.

They do it when they're frustrated / anxious - Like us when we see a spider on the ceiling we can't reach and we scream "GET THE FUCK DOWN FROM THERE AAAAAAAA"

Many people who see him in real life also say the same thing. He has a very expressive face and is a fantastic cat! I feel so lucky to have him 😸

@@Maine_Coon_Adventures I bet Buster is a little too clumsy to catch a healthy bird on his own? But a mouse should be easy to get for him. My cats were all former strays, so they knew the taste of raw meat very well. So i not only gave them good cat food, they got some raw meat when it was ok for them (never pork!) and they loved it as a variety. When i was cooking, they knew it was close to meal time and they waited for it, most times very patiently. Cooked or roasted meat always without any spices, a little raw inside for them was ok. Some days they get a meal with only meat with a little bit vegetables, not more than 5 % in weight, mostly grated carrot or some broccoli. So they had a varying menu each day, 4 times a day. They loved it, every meal was a new surprise for them, and my vet told me that i was on a very good way. He told me much about healthy cat food and what they can get from my kitchen. They were often like "please give give give now, it smells so tasty". 4 times a day was because my first cat Maya was very ill, she couldn`t eat too much due to her cancer. My vet said that 4 times a day was better than 3 times for her, so i changed to it, too. We were surprised that she blossomed up after a few days and got more healthy, and she got stronger muscles after 2 weeks. That was the biggest surprise, she had weak muscles on her rear legs so she couldn`t jump very high. No problem, i built her much stairs to reach most points so she could watch her home from a high place every time she wants. My vet told me that her diet helped her very much.

@@Schorch1962 Wow, that's very luxurious food for them! You really take good care of cats. Meat is very good for them, but also requires more work and consideration, so I just stick to regular cat food.

@@Maine_Coon_Adventures My luck was that my vet was like a "crazy cat man". He knowed so much about cats and what was healthy for them! My first meat only meal for Maya and her kitten was boiled chicken, in own water, with some pieces of the heart and some grated carrot. Days later as i was cooking broccoli, Maya acted crazy and sniffed very much, so i gave her a piece to sniff. Well, she snapped really fast and got a part of the stern, and she loved it! From this day on, she wanted broccoli stern to her meat. And her daughters? "We want the same what mom eats, she know what`s good". 75 % of the meals were good wet cat food, it was like Mjam Mjam is today. I never gave them the biowaste with sugar, wheat or any other unhealty things, and never gave them dry food. So they had all they needed, and water was coming from my big keramic well. All of my cats accepted it very fast for drinking water from it, and some of them made a little mess playing with the water so i got some bath towels to place them around the well. And they used them as resting places, too. Some neighbours and friends told me i would pamper my cats far too much, but my cats told me how happy they were with it. It`s no rocket science to make cats very happy. Healthy food, giving them me-time, cuddle-time and playtime is what they want and need. Oh, and they are grateful if you learn some cat language, specially the body language.
