Where I grew up there’s a real famous potato donut place called “Spudnuts” so I guess I assumed everyone knew about potato donuts. OMG the dog outside of LLbean! I thought he was s statue at first - what a perfect boy!
Ooohhh donu...wait...potato? Potato donuts? What? I don't even know how I need to imagine that :-p Weird. But they did look good. That cake looked better though :p Such a cute and cozy room there in Camden! I love it. Haha, the fog reminded me of that time we went to Mt. Rushmore to see the presidents... we had a sunny, blue sky drive all the way there and like 5 minutes before we reached the parking lot, there was a huge foggy spot JUST THERE! Like ... all we could see was the ground :-p Benefit was that we didn't have to pay parking or entry but I mean...when you come all the way from Belgium LOL so we walked around the area there, visited the giftshop and what not and tried to stretch the time we had to spend there and finally we were like: well, it's not gonna happen, we are not going to see them. By that point, the fog had slowly lifted a bit, but the actual presidents ... well, they were still with their head in the clouds LOL So we slowly walked towards the exit and kinda depressed, we stopped one more time to look back and THERE THEY WERE! LOL So we were able to see them after all, but man... we were so disappointed and sad at first, but you can't control the weather of course and we were on a bit of a time schedule because it was somewhere halfway in between our previous stay and the next place we were going to. If I believed in God, that would've totally been a very religious moment right there. :-p
Potato donuts... what a concept! It was like a regular cake donut, but a little less sweet?! Interesting! LOL that's so funny about Mt. Rushmore. You finally got to see it, at least!
@@DiscoLiz Yeah... I still can't quite put my head around it though ... potato donuts. hah. Ok Anyway: right?! haha and it makes for a funny story so many years later still :-p
