I used to straighten my hair every week for years and my curl pattern was destroyed so I cut all my hair off bald and started again, once my hair was long again I straightened it ONE time and my hair is back to square one, sooo annoyed! But I’m just going to have to live my life like this as it took too long to grow back
Hair grows back, I bleached my hair once and as long as you moisturize and do it properly then it's all good. I have straight hair tho so it's probably different.
@@julietbutnotjuliet5919 Yeah, I have friends who have curly hair and are always complaining about how difficult it is to do anything with it or keep it healthy and stuff. So I'm sure it would be more difficult to get it back to how it was after bleaching.
Everyone's hair is different tbh. I've bleached and dyed my hair every color imaginable and my curls are still healthy. Just depends on what works for you
@@gingechicken7394 yes! be careful, keep a big budget (up to $500), and ask ppl u trust for info. also if someone in your family has died their hair, ask them some questions, they can prob help.
I had virgin hair until I bleached it. Yet, when I bleached it, my hair still was very healthy and grew very fast. If you are looking to take care if your hair, make sure you find the right routine and products! Happy healthy hair means happy people ❤️ Edit: I have only bleached my hair once! (Not my full head just on the back kinda like a peek-a-boo)
I don’t know why people say their hair spoil after bleaching it, it’s because of how their hair was bleached and lack of after care. I bleached my natural hair like a month ago, I can comb it better and the curl pattern is pretty, it’s also still healthy.
@@queenprecious5674d bless you and your strands. In high school, I had mine bleached professionally by a great stylist! A few weeks later it slowly began to deteriorate. I cut it off, it grew back with a vengeance. But, I didn’t learn my lesson and then bleached it myself in college a few years later, the result was the same. Had to chop it off again and it’s now flourishing. I took such great care of my hair as the years passed but I guess bleach, dyes, & chemicals just dont work for some people yk.
I dyed my curls and it didnt change the curls and the best part is my hair will look so cute once its long bc of the colour I dyed it and my natural colour
Fro all my girlies who want to dye thier hair but don’t want all the chemicals (warning I am not black so my hair is different so ALWAYS do a test strand before ur whole head) henna is super natural way to dye ur hair red or auburn or basically natural colors because it is made straight from a leaf an doesn’t have super harsh chemicals in it
Henna is not what you think it is. Yes it's natural, but once you get it into your hair, it's there for ever, and you may not like what it does for you. Be careful.
@@Shaa-Belle As it was explained to me by a professional here's what happens: henna gets into the hair, fills it from the inside, and stays there. No oils, no moisture, nothing gets through the hair, and the hair scales are constantly open due to pressure from the henna and henna being stuck between them.
I had virgin hair until I was 16-17ish it was a terrible experience i asked for blonde and he gave me green 😭 I trusted him and told me not to worry. My mother FREAKED out on the manager, i felt so bad for everyone in the situation not including me. That experience really encouraged me to be more confident and learn to say “No” when someone is crossing my boundaries❤
you have my DREAM HAIR! i’ve always wished i had dark curly hair like that but i have dirty blonde/light brown straight hair which i’m learning to actually love a lot too! ❤️
Same but not because I have curly hair but because I have an incredibly beautiful blonde color and I'm afraid of losing it. Your curls look gorgeous!!!
They do make these beautiful color creams for curly hair, the rose gold one is so pretty! Or if you wanted something new, you could get some highlights 😊
i don’t have curly hair but i still wanna share my little story. i temporarily died the underneath of my hair purple two summers ago. i regret it because now my scalp is dry no matter what i do and the ends of my hair are dying quicker than they did before. i still would like to dye my hair with something safer than what i used before. (not my whole head, maybe just the ends or front pieces)
Good , me too . I swore not to let any dye get anywhere near my hair , i love it the way it is , even if sometimes i see amazing colors and styles, i remind myself that black virgin hair is amazing on its own
OMG gurlie your hair texture is so beautiful I do indeed have that same texture and I'm 11 so I'm finally starting to do my own hair and seeing other people with the same hair is crazyyyy cool 😎❤❤
Yeah 😭😭 i messed up my curl pattern.. now im done dying my hair and hoping everything im doing to take care of it brings them back or at least some curls 😭 cause i miss em
I knew my hair was done after I dyed it about 6x in 6months so I just big chopped to start over. It was the best decision I made my curls are super healthy and hydrated and hair grows back so fast anyways.
I'm so happy my curls stay the same, I've had beautiful blue curls and purple curls too! Full head bleached and nothing changed that was visible. I'm sure I had split ends up it looks healthy and never dry.
I love this because it shows that you love that feature about yourself. If someone is trying to convince you out of that comfortability dont let them. Why change or "fix" something that isnt broken??
Hi i am going to be 14 soon my hair is 3a type.... My mother and father have straight hair... so they don't know how they can take care of my hair so they always make me treat my hairs like straight hair.. my hair look like a fur ball after brushing.. please tell me what to do 🥲( that's why I use heat products to straight my hair )
Here’s some tips how to take care of curly hair I recommend combing out your hair while you have conditioner in and your hair being wet. braiding your hair and wearing bonnets to sleep will also make your hair healthier and keep in the moisture
Only brush ur hair while it's wet, and always use a leave-in conditioner to make ur curls. I recomend u to search for "finalização cabelo cacheado" i don't know How u can search this in english, sorry
OMG you have the exact same situation as me, my mum has straight hair and my dad has basically no hair so he doesn't count, but up until last year I never embraced my natural curls (3a) and my mum would always say you can keep your hair curly as long as you brush it....😑 I would recommend mousse to put in ur hair while it's wet, scrunch and diffuse it and gel spray after. It makes my hair look super curly and voluminous.
100% stick to that! I used to have gorgeous curls and then lost them after bleaching 😭 I'm trying so hard to get them back but they've been MIA for over a year now.
Same, my hair isn’t necessarily curly it’s just a little wavy but I will still never get bleached and I will stay the way I am. My hair is too precious and thick for that.
girly I was thinking the exact same thing but then I come across this hair treatment called keratin treatment and it straightens curly hair whilst nourishing dry damaged hair and helping it grow x
i’d recommend adding in extensions if you really want a pop of color in your natural hair because as someone who dyed their hair frequently, it truly destroys your hair and strips it of its natural oils. i don’t have curls but i’d assume that it could alter the pattern.
Sameee even tho my hair is wavy, and I'm worried about color never being the same bc I'm in love with the exact shade, and if smt happened i would def go bald
Your hair is beautiful! Dye it when you get older. You know when the hair gets grey or white (that is if you want to!) In the meantime let those beautiful dark virgin locks shine!!!
Well I'm just letting you know gurlie, I had bleached my hair six times and my curls still looked good!! I got to a light pastel, I used blonde me bleach powder, 20 volume blondme developer, and olaplex, including aftercare olaplex 0 1 2 and 3. :) It's possible, just expensive af, and takes a loooooooooooooot of work!!! But it does thin out, but my hair is still long! If I wouldn't have thinned out my hair with scissors to save bleach, I would have way more hair! So I'm not thinning it with shears before bleaching ever again! I thought I was saving product, which I did, but I would rather have thick hair tbh Lol
Ohhh i can totally relate especially because my hair is super fragile , but after i found this like temporary dye which is like clay, i think, i get to look like I permanently dyed my hair and not ruin my curls and bonus part is that they wash off with just water☺️ if u just want to maybe see how you’d look with different colors u can give that a try
