First time I heard this song I was in prison doing time, I remember thinking this is the story of my life in a song... blessed to have survived many dark times in my life and I’m grateful to god that he had his hand on my life and gave me the strength to overcome and pull thru trial and tribulations 👑🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏼💯💯
I beat the odds. I been in and out of jail and prisons more than +8 years. Had a bag drug addiction. Been to the point of homelessness. Quit the “homies” and “drugs”. Traded in my guns and homies for a wife and a job. Worked my ass off for 7 years. Today I get to reap the benefits. I’m able to send my kids to the best school. When I step foot out of prison had $200 gate money. No car or future. Now I have 11 cars ranging $30k to $100k. I love my life today but it wasn’t always easy. Hang in there guys. Life gets better and easier with time. Don’t give up but do it the right way. Don’t become a part of the system. Much love to all those still stuck in that life.
This song is very relatable for me. It was one of my personal anthems of life. I've survived the ghetto and God brought to a better environment with a wonderful wife who loves me and a precious daughter. This song reminds me to keep pushing and fighting especially during tough times. These rough days only make me stronger and only causing to push back stronger. Everyone out there no matter how bad it gets and even if life feels rough and not worth living. I beg you and encourage to know I have been there and I can tell you that the dark days will end things will get better just keep pushing and fighting every day one step at a time with your eyes focused on God and if you feel like you can't fight by yourself God and others will help you fight to achieve the victory. Much love everyone!
We used to fight to be like T-Pain. Those of my classmates who could sing just few words in this music 🎼 were regarded as heroes. The music still strikes my heart lovely after fifteen years ago. 😂🎉
11years later, this song will never get old for me it still has the same vibe. I remember singing it when I was a child not knowing even a word loll. It stays one of the best song ever if someone wants to achieve his purpose in life, just listen it and automatically strenght will come through your body. BIG SHOUT OUT TO Maino and T-Pain.
As a kid, we used to enjoy the beats and the vocals, as adults now we relate to every lyric and it always proves the beats and lyrics we enjoyed were accompanied by the best lyrics. The Nostalgia in these songs is out of this world
It's crazy to think that all these amazing songs came out 13 plus years ago. ❤ sure miss the 90s and early 2000's. Crazy how time moves along so quickly without even realizing it
This just what I need to hear now😢😢😢😢going through hard emotional torture..but I know someday I'll be back to testify through Almighty God will make it. If passing through tough times just know Almighty God will make it at the right time..❤❤❤❤❤
Am a miracle baby I refuse to lose I go hard forever.....Am destined for greatness. I gone through alot in life ....this song remains one of my favorites song .
Still remember this song all those years during my high school days. One of the best! This was when rap music dominated the industry and it was very motivational. Definitely a great hype song to inspire yourself before playing sports or exercising to fire you up! Miss this era in hip hop!
That one relative always making things hard for you...then that cousin who always listens to this song on a loud speaker....that gave me motivation....since 2010☝️.....that's how I got to love this song....
I used to listen to this song when my younger brother was stationed out in Afghanistan. And horrible training when he came back. Glad he came back and is doing ok. But this song definitely hits a cord I think for a lot of people in so many ways. Love it❤️
This song gives me goosebumps everytime... It appeals to me personally about what I've been through, the days of tears, laughter, sorrow, pain, joy, failures and I still came out on top.
I first saw him on World of Jenks, after that episode I had to check this dude out. I'm very glad I did, his flow is so freaking smooth, and it's real. He's relating to almost all of us who have been down, showing us we don't have to stay there, we can't a chance to shine.
This song is one of the first I listen to every morning in my playlist "Music that will motivate you to work hard on your dreams!!" before I go to work on my creative projects. Others are Ace Hood - Over Time, Fort Minor, Remember The Name and Chris Records parody - Entrepreneurs Got Choices. Those always get me amped to work on my dreams!
I can relate to this song. 2021 and still listening. This song gives me the courage and the strenght to keep on chasing my dreams no matter how hard the struggle . Thank you Maino

This is everyday Anthem - I'ma play this on loud once I blow up & I'll happily take that noise pollution ticket in Kenya! Keep grinding people, the scented roses are smelling from a far.
This song always brings Fresh old days in my life,I remember they was this time when I and my blood sisters moved in together to follow keys for the house ,by God’s grace to day am married with a beautiful wife and a handsome son living big life and above all I thank God for always been faithful to me 😢#Bornforapurpose
i always get emotional in the "I envision Obama" part. I'm not American and don't have that much to say about Obama as a politician but the fact that he inspired other black people to think they can achieve their dreams means so much, this lyric is very inspiring.
