Nice video. I have watched dozens of videos on oil changes, etc., but still get pulled in and watch newer ones. I have a L2502 and there are not many videos out on those yet, so still watch a lot of L2501 videos. Thanks for publishing and great job. -Tod
Thanks, Tod. Yeah I regularly surprise myself with the tedious and mundane tasks I watch on RU-vid so I figured at least a few folks would get a kick out of this. Much appreciated!
Nice and clean! I'm jealous of your garage! Seems like a great work space. Can't go wrong changing the oil more often than required that's for sure and as you said, very reliable machines! Wish the filters came in grey like from the factory so it would be all uniform and pretty! Seems nice to fill with 1 qt bottles...I bought a 5 gallon bucket..what a nightmare haha! Cheers, Alex
@susancade2092 Congrats! There's a round sight glass near where your left foot rests. Check the manual but the level should be within that glass when the tractor is off and on level ground.
Was wondering if you have ever had your kubota blow out a little smoke while using it.i have a l2501 and sometimes you can see a little light smoke out the exhaust you can see it better at night in the head lights.
So do you follow your manual with interval changes or just go by some other variable. You said 250 hours and 4th change, that seems a bit often (unless it’s by years). Just curious reasoning behind; otherwise that was a great DIY oil change that most anyone could follow!
Thank you! I discuss in the video that I simply do this annually since I'll never hit the 400 hour/year recommended interval. Perhaps a bit often, but it makes me feel good.
@@Academy_Farm ok, that makes sense I missed that. I do the annual oil change also as I don’t hit those hours. Sometimes watching on your phone you don’t get all the info.
