Historically Mainz is known for it University, Roman heritage and place where Main meet Rhine. However, recently it got fame being a birth place of the Covid vaccine manufecturer BIONTECH. In this video you will see the city from above as well as walk through the old town. Enojy!

I am French this is my city of adoption, i absolutely fell in love with it, the architecture, the athmosphere, the Rhine shores, the mix of university dynamism and more relaxed ambiance...plus the region's landscape reminds me of my native region of Burgundy, it is exactly the same so i feel at home...love it !

I lived in Mainz in the 80s, I always loved it and felt so much at home. It's still a beautiful city. This brought back some great memories. Thank you.

A very nice video, I find the cultural proximity to the Rhine very interesting and find that the Rheinhessen region has no other city except Mainz, since the Rheinhessen region is the largest wine-growing area in Germany and, with its close proximity to the city of Mainz, is of great importance for the region is. One must not forget that Mainz is a university town and with the Biontech that found the first vaccination, Mainz is world famous. Fortunately, I currently live in Wiesbaden and can, if I want, go to Mainz every day and visit, but there are other things to do as well. Long story short, I like the city very much and the people are very nice, which makes it one of the most liveable cities in Germany.

what do you want to know exactly? are we talking about TH Bingen? Bingen itself is a small city and mostly famous for tourism.

Bingen is like one of the gates to the Mittelrheintal. In the South you get to the wine region Nahe. The location is very nice. Can't comment on the TH Bingen but all the Hochschulen in the state/country should have similiar approaches (being more practical for example). What differs are the study programs. If you're into tech stuff or science than this college may be for you. Bingen has a railway connection. The likelyhood of being discrimnated or harrased as a foreigner is low. People in the Southwest tend to be friendlier.

@@bindkrisna5264 If she's into greener areas then she'll have a good time regarding the general athmosphere. My guess is that it has an positive influence on the students. The city isn't big, but this can be said for a lot of cities here in Rheinland-Pfalz. Other cities like our state capital Mainz or Koblenz aren't far away. And you can reach them via train.
