Utterly love this colour! Haven't seen them come in that colour-way before so very unique! I got a pair of black ones earlier in the year as they finally brought out a version of the tabi boots for men a few seasons ago! I love them! I get some very strange looks off people but that's the fun of wearing such a unique boot! Congrats on your new boots!

OMGAWD I'm laughing as I watch this because I'm watching myself. I got my second pair today and as I was unboxing I literally was screaming/crying, like girl, you've been already through this! Tabi boots are just fairy boots, no matter how many one gets, it's always like the very first time. This lavender color is to die for🤤!!!

Getting your first proper designer boots is just a different feeling haha. So nice to see you be so excited!! Picked up a pair of the Rick Owens Kiss Boots with the see through heel and grills and oh my! You just feel different! Love the color of yours, never knew they came in lilac. I am definitely considering buying a pair of Tabis this year, Martin’s work is just unbelievable.

I’m glad you were able to treat yourself to a luxury item! Especially one that you really want and will truly enjoy! Not saying this is you, but sometimes as moms, we may not do this as much because we put our children and everything else first! But sometimes you have to treat yourself as well! Plus, you got them at a deal! I’m ALWAYS shopping for the deals no matter what it is and I know you are too! 😄 You go girl! That closure is very well made! I think that’s my favorite part of the boot! What I want to know is do they feel weird? Like does it take some time to adjust to the separation of the toes? 🤣 I ask because I know how I used to feel when I would wear the socks with the individual toe fittings 😂 The color looks good too! I like it over a traditional color!

Thank you!!! I totally remember you wearing toe socks!!!! They’re actually quite comfortable and not weird at all. A little difficult to get on but once they’re on, they’re super comfy and feel natural having my toe “split” in that way. Thanks for watching, babe! 💕

They are sooooo cute! ughh that lilac color! be careful these are addicting! I now have 3 pairs (my first pair were a birthday present they are white and the other 2 were suuuuper discounted on a site where someone was selling their pairs, one is gold and the other silver 😝). They have become my favorite shoes along with another Japanese style shoe I own that have a geta sandal type heal. Anyways, so happy for you! these are fire!!! Haters have no style.

wouldve been nice if you told us how they fit you after you tried them on. Not just insert clips.. true to size? tight fit? maybe if you have wide feet? idk

Oh yes, all valid questions. So in designer (knew this after the fact) I’m a 10.5 when otherwise I’m a 10 and I got a 10 in these. So the shoe is difficult to get on and fits a wee bit too tight. I think for wide feet definitely go up a half size to whole size. It is a very rigid shoe in that way. They are super comfortable though once they’re on. Thanks for the questions!

Hello. I’m a 38 but found them online but in a 39. Do you think sense they are open I can get away with it. My foot is narrow. 👍

Hi Lauren! It may work but you can never be sure. I can say mine are a little snug and I wish I had sized up a bit because they’re tough to get on. I say go for it!
