Hi Makasy! I love your videos. I'm a bit late to the party, but I'm looking to get a 60mm black pair of tabi's in Camel leather form their 2022/23 collection. Do you have any experience or opinions on camel leather? Do you think it's comparable to the grainy sheepskin variant? Thank you!
i do not have any experience with camel leather but I have read a few articles about camel leather, very durable, has a unique texture but has a smell to it that isn't for everyone. i own a coat that is made from camel hair and I can confirm the smell is strong and not in the good way loll IF i had a do over, i would definitely get the camel leather PURELY because calf is just so common. with my tabi, there's a bit of stacking of the leather but since the calf is thinner, it doesn't look as good as say a pair of guide, camel seems to be thicker so you will definitely see a more pronounced stacking? or i hope you do? loll but you can't go wrong with exotic materials. and you know camel leather is more expensive so if its close to calf, get camel leather loll
i feel like bovine is the softer leather. with calfskin, sometimes there is a breaking in phase which i hate. my rick is calfskin and has to be broken into. i think both are great leather but in terms of it being supple and soft, bovine. idk how they're gonna hold up since they're thinner than calfskin but i will update you if it breaks loll
Makasy, I think your channel is shadow banned. Whenever I try to search for it, for specific videos, it never comes on and I have to scroll for ages to find it. Too much sexiness maybe? I don’t see any other reason.
