3:32 the hole (trench) has perpendicular walls but they should be at an angle, it would allow better air flow and most importantly it's a lot less dangerous because as you use the trench many times the perpendicular walls will collapse sooner or later (from rain, heat and whatnot), most likely when you step on them and you'll burn your leg like I did. The trench you use is new.
