Magnificent! 😢I was there when I was 9 in 1974 helping raking up the hay with my fun cousins Jan, Zdeno, and Miro Ceselka. I picked blueberries and made pierogies with them and churned butter with my beautiful great aunt Anna Vislocka Ceselka. My great grandfather took me on his wagon into the nearby forest and he said we were in Poland and we hunted down basketfuls of plump brown mushrooms. I milked cows and collected freshly lain eggs as directed by my great uncle Mikulas and great aunt Anna’s direction. I have such good memories of the Majdan - the smell of the hay, the warm sun, the sweet taste of honey and butter on a piece of brown bread with a snippet of slab bacon. If you any of you know what I mean then you know. This film survives thankfully. I wish there were more films like this. 🥰 ❤🤍💙🇸🇰🥲
