For our trip to Alaska we stayed in a mini-suite on the Marina deck (deck 15) which is on the starboard side of the ship. The one-time mini bar setup is a perk that Elite members of the Captain’s Circle can enjoy, along with free laundry service, and many other benefits.
You don’t see it on the video, but there are motion sensor lights that come on under the bedside tables, the cabinet where the refrigerator is, and in the hallway of the closet, right in front of the bathroom door. These lights come in handy when moving around a dark room at night, though the light right outside the bathroom can be quite bright.
Since this room will sleep 4 (there is a Pullman bed that will come down from the ceiling and the couch can also be made out to a bed) the curtain in the middle of the room can be used to partition the bedroom off from the living area. A handy feature if you have kids staying in the room with you and/or require a bit of privacy.
