Messed up part is that, I believe, Super Buu is technically stronger than Kid Buu. But Kid Buu is so derange, chaotic and evil that he has no restraint and goes 100% into every fight. Super Buu had way to much personality and ego that got in the way of him finishing the job, while Kid Buu shows up and goes straight for murder of the entire human race. Combined with that insane regeneration power and he was legitimately seemed unstoppable. Only atomizing him down to the point of complete and total disintegration did he finally go down. The Buu saga was up and down in overall quality but Buu was truly on of the biggest threats in all of anime let alone DBZ.

Base Super Buu is significantly weaker then Kid Buu ( using Goku and Gotenks at SS3 as a rough measurement) , but once Super Buu absorbed Gohan, yeah it would have been GG for the entire universe had his ego not gotten in the way

Even if I could have SOMEHOW DEFEATED him..." means he wasn't stronger than fat buu. Its Super Buu > Fat Buu > Kid Buu > Evil Buu = Good Buu (simple math, fat buu divided by 2) 😅 over 30y and english fans still don't get it 😅 like turles isn't gokus brother, or its by the way far over 8000 (something like ~8634 someone solved the scouter language) and not over 9000 😅 no hate by the way just saying how wrong the english translation was back then. 👍

He's a galactic god of destruction hidden in the unassuming form of a pink blob creature with the mentality of a toddler that is primarily motivated by an insatiable, gluttonous hunger. He has a completely malleable body that he can squash, stretch, and inflate at will, his preferred methods of execution are to swallow his enemy whole (like Buu did to Dabura), convert them into a star to fire back out as an attack (the city of people being turned into candy) or to slaughter them with powers stolen from previously absorbed victims (Buu's different forms). And he fights everything from cosmic horrors capable of eradicating all life in the universe (some of which look suspiciously like Kirby) to adorably innocent creatures that just have the misfortune of being in the area as Kirby is passing through.

Ssj 3 was eating his time on Earth. He wouldn't have been able to finish the fight. And remember too, Goku didn't know about the Stamina and Power Draining of it yet. When he was alive, Super Buu would've been strong enough to match him (no one absorbed Super Buu, I mean), and the power would've run out

@@Reineerus_The_Rat (this is how i see it just sharing my thought) I think your putting to much confidence on Goku's (maybe I could've killed buu, I mean even Goku wasn't 100% sure) there's a reason buu was sealed away rather than killed and revived or some shit. Goku was running out of time so it wasn't bullshit and one well placed full power kamahameha would of just been a repeat of what he did to kid buu, which is goku getting tired and the whole running out of time was a stress on Goku as well because he wasn't confident in killing fat buu and if he failed then there was no one left on Earth to defend so he did the near best thing he could think of at the time to have a fighting chance. I mean fat buu and kid buu has the same hacks just that kid buu was way stronger and deranged and that same kid buu was the one who blew himself up on earth and regenerated himself in space. So fat buu has a high chance of being able of doing the same crap. So basically they can beat the shit out of buu but can't really kill him unless they seal him or have something that just erases anything evil. (spirit bomb/plot).

Yo Aaron in Goku's defense I can see way he wanted the kids to fight Buu because he wanted the next generation to be prepared for future threats. Now you're right that he should have killed him then, but Goku was thinking even if I beat him someone else would come along and threaten earth. 9:00 Okay, see right there, "hunter" is a little misleading. The guy who shot the dog was actually one of two mercenaries that went to kill Buu. He killed the dog to just mess with Buu because he thinks he can actually take him out. Also at 12:05, the real reason Buu didn't kill Videl was because Piccolo told him that she's Mr. Satan's daughter. Fat Buu is still inside Super Buu, so he's still sentimental about him. If you watch the show, right after Buu blows up the other mercenary, he notices Mr. Satan and their dog, Bee. Right when he was about to kill them, he stopped once he realized who they were. And even when he did the Human Extinction Attack, when it cuts to Mr. Satan and Bee, the ki blasts are actively avoiding them! It wasn't until Kid Buu came around and spit out Fat Buu that he no longer had feelings for Mr. Satan. I just feel like CJ could have emphasized the importance of Buu and Mr. Satan's friendship a bit more.

They not ONLY had to revive everyone to get the energy but none of them would even LISTEN to Goku or Vegeta when they asked for the help so Mr. Satan had to be like "You bum ass motherfuckers! I am the one fighting Buu and I need your energy so send that shit over now! I'm the fucking champ!" and then they gave their energy to Goku thinking it was for Mr. Satan but that was still not enough. So they had one last wish to use and with it they had to restore all of Goku's energy because Buu was pushing back the Spirit Bomb against tired out Goku and it was like effortless for Kid Buu at the time. He was like "shit this ain't nothing". Like yea it was plot that Kid Buu lost but it at least made a little sense.

I just thought of something. What is it with the wives of goku and vegeta slapping the enemies? In here you see Chi-Chi slapping buu then getting turned into an egg then crushed.That causing Gotenks to be infuriated and power up. In super, you see Bulma walk up to Beerus and slapping him. Then Beerus slaps her back causing Vegeta to be infuriated.

@@-KingBeast- oh Jiren could have definitely handled him... at his base. The problem would have been how long it took Jiren to actually enter the fight. By then, Buu could have absorbed so many strong characters that he would have got too strong too quickly

SSJ 3 drains a lot of goku’s energy at that time and this is why he couldn’t kill buu which is why he depended on goten and trunks fusing into gotenks to fight him.

NAH..he said himself that he COULD have (probably) defeated Buu..had he taken him serious at first and not done what Goku does and bullshit around..he pretty much stated he consciously decided not to so that he could purposely let Goten, Trunks, and or Gohan do so..because HE wouldn't always be around to save the world (he was technically dead and on barrowed time at that particular moment)..thinking like GOKU..he pretty much attempted what he was trying with Gohan when it came to Cell..and put the fate of the world on the youth/ next generation.. It had NOTHING to do with his energy at that time..he was literally on some "the children need to learn how to save the world" bullshit..and in doing so..getting alot more people PHUCKED up..which is consistent with Goku...remember..he HAD SS3 and hid it from Vegeta..purposely bullshit'n.. He's well known for holding back in fights..and has been called out for it several times..he'll do his 'Warming up" in battles.. Vegeta in contrast is known to pull no punches and has no problem going all in straight from the start.. Think of every fight they show you of Goku..he NEVER just goes full power/final form/ all out from the start.. it almost always has to be "forced" for him to do so..

@@grayter even King Kai did not want Goku to use SS3, because that would make him have less time on Earth. Basically the amount of power used was a direct factor in how long his life force could remain in the earth realm. He only had a certain amount of time and this relied on a certain type of energy (which makes perfect sense when you ask yourself how Goku was able to be there in the first place) so when he went SS3 and expended a signficant amount of his own energy it had a direct impact on how long he could remain on earth. Considering Dragon Ball uses ki & Goku being on earth involved Baba’s powers, its safe to say Goku’s energy and his time on earth were linked. Right after fat buu killed babidi and goku went to koriin tower. He literally said that he used up all his energy when he went SS3 and when piccolo suggested that dende should give him some energy he said that wouldn’t work and that he would have to go back to other world to recharge. Goku didn’t want to use up all his energy and his remaining 30 min because he had to use it in order to teach Goten and trunks how to do the fusion. If goku kept fighting he literally would’ve finished his time on earth and went back to king Kai’s planet leaving earth defenseless.

@@grayter The more power goku uses, the more his time on earth shortens so if he fought like he fought against frieza and taken it serious and went all out his time would’ve been up fast. Even when goku took it easy, baba came to him and told him he only had 30 min after he used SS3. And he used that 30 min to teach goten and trunks the fusion dance

@@grayter piccolo literally asked him if he could’ve killed buu but goku in the vid said it’s possible but it could’ve gone one way or the other bcuz of buu strength and power. Meaning he is not sure if he would be able to beat buu. You said that Goku said himself that he “probably could’ve beaten majin buu if he took it serious” but that’s not what he says he basically said he was unsure who would win when he said the fight could go either way. He never said anything about taking the fight serious And going back to the time and energy thing it does have something to do with it bcuz king Kai, baba, and goku himself stated in several ep that the more energy he uses fighting and using energy shorten his time on earth. Which is why when he went against majin vegeta he didn’t use ss3 bcuz it would drain the time he had on earth. He used his final 30 minuets to train goten and trunks bcuz that was the only choice he had. Baba only gave a dead goku 24 hours to spend time with his family and within those 24 hours dealt with majin vegeta and majin buu which both drained tf out his energy and time.

Did they ever provide a plot explanation for why Beerus didn't intervene to destroy Buu? Why didn't a predecessor destroy Buu after he was sealed away? Isn't the unchecked destruction of worlds a huge no-no? Hell, Frieza apparently had permission to pop all of Planet Vegeta!

Hell, even Frieza was aware of Majin Buu in Resurrection F. I dunno. I get that intervention isn't in Beerus's character, but not even acknowledging Majin Buu, a being that made the Supreme Kai shit bricks, seems like an obvious missed opportunity. There could've just been a throwaway line like, "The Kaio-Shin wanted me to get up for this?" before effortlessly one-shotting Fat Buu.

Buu had no business being in Z. He was dead-ass an enemy from Super. Bibidy created him to kill GODS. Buu was literally designed to defeat people like Beerus, ten years before Beerus was ever even created. If Toei ever does a runback or a re-release of the whole series, they need to end Z at the Cell Saga and have the Buu Arc happen sometime during Super. Because that's where Majin Buu belongs. Buu is a character that was born to throw hands with Beerus and the Gods of Destruction, but we never got to see it because the story just didn't play that way. I want to see an arc where Buu pulls up, EATS Beerus before he can stop him, and now everybody has to deal with the problem that fucking created.

What people forget is that the puppy (Bee) getting shot wasn't what made Buu lose control. Hercule manage to get Buu to focus and heal Bee. Buu lost control when Hercule was SHOT AND KILLED by the Same Criminal!!!! Buu healed him and THEN lost control.
