At the end of the class, they engage in what Bhikkhu Bodhi called the "sharing of the merits". Punnanumodana I tried to paste a link to a video translation of this, but youtube's comment format would not allow it. I would suggest those interested do a similar search and give yourself the opportunity to see if you see value in it.

Actually. There really is no permanence whatsoever. Just a flow of momentary events (at all levels), coming together according to causes and conditions. But that flow is impermanent too. Even if you look at the law of entropy, you can see... Everything decays. And if you look at the expansion of the universe, it will totally tear apart at some point.... Including the atoms.
