Hi, there. Thanks for the information about this new 136 Titanium model. You mentioned USD 70 retail. Again the same pricing game on Alixx, only 1 seller (the very same as always) offers only the smooth surface version at USD 120. I'm so sick and tired about this shop, I can't tell.
@@whoami5422 seems like only Mahjohn is making full tatinum pens.. very attractive! indestrutible - it will last until 宇宙毁灭 - ---- 永远都没有。从现在直到宇宙毁灭。- 《新喜剧之王》
i had a chat with Majohn.. they said there is currently no tool to take out the piston and there is no need to take out the piston they said. The piston is partly made of brass.. i guess like their other pens, but not like the P139 where it is 100% brass except for the rubber.
ti136 piston quite looks like the one in p136. Brass thread, plastic rod, nothing fancy. I have seen picture online. I tried my p136 tool into ti136, the wrench is too thick to stick into the gap between nob & barrel. That's not bit deal, a modified tool can be easily made. Btw, check my video, asvine tool is able to remove p139 piston, if you really got nothing to do this weekend.
@Shanghai_Knife_Dude they said they have no intention to make the tool and there is no need to take out the piston. When I ask about applying the silicon grease, he said just apply thru the body with the nib section removed. Haha. I never thought of that.. I am just one month into fountain pens haha. Still learning.
@@HaveAGoodHeart to avoid after sales trouble. Chinese customer, sometimes too clever, hands move faster than intelligence. I totally understand majohn.
@@Shanghai_Knife_Dude right :)) I just missed that part, was watching with "one eye" doing some work. 17:35 for the ones interested in how this post. :) Thanks!
@@Shanghai_Knife_Dude that's a real shame for Majohn to not be able to make a posting pen, many chinese pens are having this issue. A very tempting pen nonetheless.
@@AlinBalanean shame? I'd rather say it is a design feature. Personally, it is my toy pen. My personal faviout pen: Hongdian 1866, it is ergonomic, cheap, bling silver plated cap, and can be easily replaced. This Ti136 is unlikely to be on regular sale.
@@Shanghai_Knife_DudeIf the new Ti136 have the same size as Majohn P136 which does not post, this is a big flaw in my view, the pen body is quite small and requires the pen cap to be posted for better balance inthe hand. It might be a personal preference, but I see it as a design issue, not a feature. I agree with you on the HongDian 1866 Max wood edition. What a good deal on a perfect finishing pen! A steal deal especially with the new nib and feed. I love the black ebony version!
@@whoami5422 standard majohn Steel nib, only ef available at the moment. I was using my p136 M steel nib. Balance point towards the end, 4/6 ratio, understand?
Verry nice pens. I would only love that they would not put the exact same clip design as a montblanc on them. There are only so many ways to design a cigar shaped pen and they showed us that they are creative especislly the ink window looks unique to me. Than just to use the same clip design is a little bit lazzy.
