For the league to be viable long term you dont need investment and subsidies, you need profit. You need advertising, tv (stream) deals, ticket sales, merch sales, in game purchases, etc. The NFL doesnt rely on venture capitalists to run its league nor should the CDL
I used to like cloud nine back in the day . It will be cool for them to be back . But it's interesting that there taking over the place of new york subs This is also why I wish the league could just expand to like 18 teams or something make it a little more competitive so many talented players not enough teams
What do you mean? Everyones gripe this year with the league is that that bottom 6-8 teams are absolutely dog shit and to top heavy. Where are these great players who aren’t already on teams that would come in and be competitive and not be like LAG, Boston or MIN Rokkr at and why haven’t they already been picked up? I guess it would make the dogshit teams now less dogshit in comparison by adding more teams that aren’t good.
@@CallMeKakarot-nu3lb fair enough but I for one think there is hidden talent in challengers and how could we know how good they'd be without giving them a chance? I agree that if we added 6 more teams at least five of them would be your Minnesotas or worse a Boston, but I think at least one would be like a nysl. Haggy always talking about Challenger's talent and as a side note we would have more rookies each year! Which would be massive because I love watching the rookies pop off and think a lot of other people do too.
32 is a lot, but i agree that there should be a pipeline for amateur teams to play in tourneys. Like 2-4 teams from online 2K qualifiers or challenger cups

Why is there a team damage 15 second penalty in league matches it makes no sense. That exists in pubs because people troll and actually try to kill their teammates. No one would ever do that on purpose in league matches so it just shouldnt be there.
Sounds pretty obvious to me. Kenny wants stuff done a certain way with some structure when he is seeing the mistakes in vod. The others are going out doing whatever and leaving Kenny out to dry which is making him angry.
I also think the "quick" and ineffective "fix" is go rogue and go against the game plan and chall gunfights you shouldn't. This fake solution makes the player who does it stats look good and then they don't get blamed. Kenny is rightfully trying to get them to stick to a functioning plan and when they don't they all look stupid except the player who went rogue and stat padded

I don't understand why zero keeps talking about the fact that evil geniuses had a "easy bracket " at world war II champs. If optic would have won one map they would have that exact same bracket and I'm sure no one will talk about how " easy the bracket was for them" also it's not too different from optics infinite warfare champs bracket.

On Ravens, they have a 2-1 head to head over Legion (LAT has it over them). What happens if the very possible scenario of; Legion lose to Surge Legion win vs Boston Legion lose to NYSL Legion out in elimination rd 2 Ravens win vs LAG Ravens lose to Optic/LAT/Miami Ravens out in elimination rd 2 Don't they both get the same points but Ravens holds the 2-1 head to head over Legion? Ravens in, Legion out?
Boston and priestahh are the biggest flop. During rostermania, they had tons of hype when everyone thought slasher and priestahh were gonna be good and then they didn’t do anything. They dropped slasher and kept priestahh and just started losing losing losing
Biggest CDL pro Flop this season has to be Asim unfortunately man fry’s in challengers and flops in CDL (could just be the teams he been in tho) In terms of DopeCheck Flop has to be Ace just for the simple reason Minnesota are ass and he stands by them too much cause of cousin cheese 😅
Optic is the Facebook/Meta of Cod. They made something that was great once a decade ago and have been coasting on that since. They have the money and clout to buy players and companies that are already great and once in a while they get a win like Instagram or Whats App but for the most part they’re too big and entitled to get the most out of the players that were performing on hungrier, scrappier teams and generally underperform their potential. And like Facebook, its fan base is mostly older millennials who want to relive the glory days lmao.
@@BreakingPointGG Exaaactly. They just find players that are already successful and buy them out never taking risks or building anything from scratch. NY took a risk on a young Paco straight from France and built around him with players that nobody thought were great like Skyz and Kis and Toronto started as an incubator with a 10 man roster and academy team and eventually turned into a juggernaut. Faze is Apple for sure because they hit it big with something that worked early on and just release a new slightly different version every year. Simp, Abezy and Cell are basically the iPhone and Arcitys/Slasher/Drazah are the new camera lmao.

Boston as a whole gotta be the biggest flop this season right? I remember everyone in pre-season was saying they gonna be the 5th best team and could contend for championships lmao, going from that to now everyone considering them a free dub gotta be the biggest flop imo

Optic get clowned by us fans cos we get all these promises ( your own fault if you believe them at this point) then we do something good and everything fallls apart and the team goes into denial, yeah it’s never been this bad before but optic have always been a team that wins and then falls off with the a exception of the dynasty,before and since the dynasty when ever they’ve won they always fall off big time

Tbh don't see the big advantage for scrappy to go to Optic. Shotzzy is still very much ghe face of them. I also think that org actually has money issues. Don't see them paying more for another top guy. Scrap is also already getting the attention from Optic fans without going there. I also really don't think his goofy self would work with the Optic "content". Personally think he'd become annoying quick with that over exposer.
Buying out the subliners is insane the one of the few good teams we had in the cdl and now they are gone excited for c9 to be back just wish it could have been for some dogshit team like vegas instead of a good
