Awesome series! I really dig you guys doing 2 days to simulate the tournament cut. Hopefully as the series progresses you are able to play on some exclusive courses.
The comments really summed this up well! You 3 together made 3:30:00 hours worth of golf so enjoyable to watch. Shout out to the editors who put in a ton of work on this to bring it together 🙏🏼 this is your best idea yet
I like Grant and Bryan Bros for many reasons but a real plus is that they don’t use profanity or take the Lord’s name in vain. I’m unfortunately going to have to stop watching most of the other golf channels due to the completely unnecessary derogatory way they blaspheme constantly. Keep up the good work bros!
Play any major courses you guys can film and we will watch. I don't know why but the recent 2nd place Wesley booked and Myrtle invite for George wants to make me root for them so much. Wesley genuinely rooting for George and Grant to make the cut is something I did not expect but the positive vibes were rocking. Please don't kill this series.
Just so y’all know, it would be nice if the overlay top right for each hole had the number of shots for par on each hole. When it still shows 5 shots even when it’s a par 4, it can be a little confusing unless you heard someone say what par it was. Awesome content!
No really someone editing FKED up. I played along on 18birdies to know what they were doing. It made me realize following a long on 18birdies is actually fantastic, but people that didn't, probably kinda sad or turned off.
It was shown correctly on Grants round. This round it was 5 for every hole. It took some getting used to as had to look at the yardage to work out what par was.
I got back into golf a few years ago after not playing for 30 years and all three of you have been instrumental in my approach to the game. I learn something watching George describe and then hit a hole-in-one; watching Wesley break balls and then, a moment later, offer encouragement; watching Grant fight back and refuse to melt down after a few bad holes. In the end, it's a game and it should be fun, and you all let the joy shine through. It's difficult to not be envious sometimes, but the RU-vid golfers (with the three of you right near the top of the list) have really put gratitude and joy back into the game for me. I hope you all make fortunes and continue to hit the best courses in the world, and that I get to watch.
Great video. I love Wesley giving Grant course management tips and showing how a tour pro works himself around a tough golf course. I think this prep helped Wesley almost win a PGA golf tournament.
Here’s the thing. There is so much YT golf content out there; and much of it is extremely well done. What makes these guys different is how genuine they are. There is a lack of pretentiousness that sometimes pervades the game/sport. All three of these guys are just great ambassadors of the game. George is as likeable as they get. The high, lilting voice portrays a guy that truly loves the game. Wes, there’s a guy that you could have a beer with and he’d make you feel at ease. And Grant, again, he’s just a genuine, down to earth guy. And all three of these dudes have great golf games.
I would love to be the fourth in that group! Not from those tees, though….. I would need a ball sponsor on that course. Great series guys, can’t wait to see what you do next!
I've played the Ocean Course (many many years ago--25-30...a few years after the Ryder Cup was there) a few times along with a few of the other Kiawah courses . The Ocean Course is the toughest test of golf. I got the opportunity to play East Lake in Atlanta many years ago as well. I played a week before the Tour Championship (yes before FedEx Cup Points). It was also tough because it was getting ready for the tournament. The rough was thick and beautiful. By far my favorite golf course. The history of the course and Bobby Jones is unmatched (except for a little course that is played in Augusta, GA.) To answer George's question...I think you boys should play East Lake and enjoy the history and beautiful property and bring it to you tube. Love the content from you guys and Grant. Keep doing what you're doing!
I agree. I think these two rounds on the Ocean course prepared him for the high winds in the Dominican Republic. His game is clicking right now, let's see how the rest of the year goes!
Bryan Bros x Grant is the best collab in RU-vid Golf... And this cut series is awesome. I really enjoy the longer videos like this showing every shot on world class courses. 💪🏼 Keep it up guys. And good luck in Myrtle Beach!
George, in regards to your question about hydration mixes. We as well as you started with LiquidIV, but for a better organic alternative we now use one of two options: Re-LYTE or Better Greens. Better Greens also have caffeinated and uncaffeinated. But for specifically hydration, and electrolytes etc RE-LYTE is one you will enjoy if you like LiquidIV. Keep up the good work man!
Great Content! Bryan Bros are unmatched content on RU-vid. Watching Professionals compete and train and perform from intimate footage and camera angles is really cool. Grant is a formidable player and a solid addition to display the true difficulty level and to be relatable to those of us that are incapable of ever performing at the Bryan Bros level. Well done yallzz!
This was such a refreshing break from all the smack talk I've been hearing on YT golf lately. Players don't have to put each other down for the game to be compelling or for the sake of competition. It's GOLF... which is brutal enough on its own. 😊 This is so much fun to watch. Great collab.
Wonderful to see all 3 guys so supportive of each other. Grant's even temperament and calm demeanor is a great example for everyone. Great to see Wesley playing well. His short game is crazy good. Bravo!
The combination of the 3 of you is pure genius. You guys have created content that I can not stop watching & obviously others feel the same way. Pure gold... no matter the outcome of the scores
What an Amazing and Creative series! Just started my own golf journey couple days ago for cardio. Been lifting and training since last november at 546lbs and now at 460lbs after straining my calf last week running hill sprints, decided to teach myself Golf from complete scratch as a form of low intensity steady state cardio. Have been watching yalls vids for couple years just for entertainment value. Love the vlogs of the course yall bought and remaking and the Puerto Rico vlog was EPIC. Yall together on tour 1 playing, 1 caddying is RU-vid Gold and the the subtle rivalry Wesley and Grant have is fun to watch.
Wesley…I bought my tickets to the Byron Nelson just to see you👍🏻 See you at #10 on Friday, and our group will be cheering you on to greatness. Great start to the series guys and can’t wait to see how it all plays out👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
When Wesley is playing well it is a treat to watch, he's just on another level when he really focuses on his game and not just making content. His tournament videos are my favorite by far.
This Cut Series is brilliant. Taken collectively, it demonstrates very clearly that the Bryan brothers are not RU-vid golfers in the usual sense. Rather, they are elite level golfers who happen to have a RU-vid channel. Wesley seems to play his very best golf (i.e., Tour standard) in this format, and George's attitude to the ups and down of golf is exemplary. Grant knows that he is not quite in the brothers' league, but what a fantastic back nine after a difficult start. As much a test of character as golfing ability. Inspiring stuff.
This is by far the best lot of golf I've seen on any channel so far, it's like watching an actual tournament. Also credit to the camera work, really well done, perfect 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I loved that Grant is playing with two great ball strikers! Yesterday the two brothers showed their strengths and im so looking forward to today's round!
Quality video all around and looking forward to the rest of the series! George’s solo cart cams are pure gold, the Grant/Wes banter and pro level golf. Keep at it gents.
I sincerely enjoy and love watching you guys play golf , the whole team ! ! You guys are the best ! I hope I have the honor of meeting you guys one day
I love how interactive this channel is with the commenters. You guys should start a series like "Playing with an average golfer" just for perspective as to HOW GOOD you guys actually are. I will volunteer as first guest. I am a 11.2 HCP and would love to have a chance to embarrass myself playing with you fellas.
I thoroughly enjoy following these guys on their respective channels all the way from South Africa - Any course you guys choose is a pleasure to watch. Good quality stuff guys!
Wesley, You know you need to go through your routine for the short putts as well as you do for the other putts. You did the same thing in your 2nd place finish on your last tourney in the last two rounds. I am sure you are aware of this but yet I keep seeing you do the same thing on your rounds here on your short putts. Your playing so well recently and I really feel you will win this year on tour. :)
I absolutely love watching Wesley, George and Grant play. You guys have helped me get through a tough time in my life last year. My wife and I spent 7 month in the hospital with our newborn last year and on the days it seemed like there was no end, I watched your videos. This one is my favorite so far because I was fortunate enough to play here a few years back and this course is absolutely amazing. I did have alligator walk 5 ft in front of me on a tee box there going to the beach.
Nice work, Wesley. You're going to win on the tour really soon my friend!!! George your positive look at your game and all who play with you rocks!!!! Grant your smooth swing makes that big smile of yours shine even more... thank boyzzz for the fun rounds in Hawaii!!! If you guys haven't been to Vancouver Island British Columbia, there's some really sweet challenging tracks that I'm positive you boyzzz would enjoy. Summers are awesome and the fishing is even better.
Hats off to Wesley for making the cut. Grant had such an incredible finish on the back 9. Well played. George...Mr. Incredible. Dude, you crushed it. Keep the momentum boys.
Bryan Bros channel is the best, especially Wesley you got a lot of character and showmanship I only watch the other channels when you and your brother are playing in them. Keep up the great work.r
Georges pep talk from his invisible friend was my favourite part. Great series. Hope Augusta calls once youve knocked off a few of the more accessible ones. Keep it up.
I just came back from Kiawah, played the Ocean Course and it was amazing!! Other courses there aren’t too bad either but if you’re there Ocean is a must. Certainly agree that this is one of the hardest courses I’ve been on. I wish I could get the ball to check up like the guys do because the greens were hard and fast. The wind makes this place that much harder and beware of all the gators there. Thanks for the content guys and the insight on how you play your shots, very helpful.
This was so pure… nice job fellas. Also, moving past the usual trash talk from Wes (which is always entertaining), it was really cool for him to share his course insight and pro mentality. Things like keeping the course in front of you, miss so that you have a pitch green side into the wind… really insightful. I don’t think everyone gives Wes enough credit for this. I think the best was around the 1:00:00 mark when he talks about how these tournament level courses can separate the elite from the very very good golfers. Grant is no slouch and can go under par… which we’ve seen on his previous videos on the Florida courses, but get him out of position here on the Ocean Course and he shoots +11 over 2 days. A few small mistakes that punished him big time by not thinking ahead. This is a big difference in course management, and I’m sure Grant will carry that forward and become even better. Wes’s take about 5 handicappers coming there and shooting 100… I don’t disagree, I would probably do that but would enjoy every minute of that round. If you need a 4th guy, I’m available. Leave Micah back in FL… Wes’s dig at Micah was gold.
One episode in after round 1 on grants channel and i completely agree - this has to be the most exciting series launched on RU-vid (only just in front of QFTO with Pete Finch) - kepe it going guys and literally cannot wait to see what comes through the year........ and the word you were looking for was 'unmistakable'
Phat idea! Any course that there's been qualifying for a PGA event is great! Even play some old courses where Jack and Arnie did battle would be cool to see. It's all cool to see. You guys are great!!!!
Fun concept and can't wait to see where you head to next. As to one of George's questions the combination of the Ross Course and Pete Dye Course in French Lick, Indiana are the best resort courses I've ever played. Two of the giants in the game as far as course design just a couple miles apart along with all the history wrapped up in French Lick/West Baden make for a great golf getaway. Respect the grind and keep playing well Wesley and showing up on the leaderboards on Tour!
This was amazing, love the energy and fun all of you 3 have together and still be competitive! I am a member at Oak Tree National in Edmond where they have had mutliple PGA championships( latest was PGA in 1988). Senior tour coming back in 2027. I would love to see you tackle this beast from the tips!! Pete Dye design and slope rating is 79.6 higher than Kiawah Island… keep up the great content!!
Gentlemen - the best golf content I have watched, loved the banter between you three …it had me on the edge of my seat. From the UK you guys rocked it !!
Waking up in the UK to see this drop out a smile on my face. Loving the ways you 3 are going. Exploring high end courses, 3 great golfers and grant can only benefit from playing with 2 stripeshowers 👌🏻
This is the first time I've seen Grant struggle a little bit. I'm always amazed at how solid of a golfer he is. I have to say that I'm impressed with how he handles golf adversity. I have personally seen so much adversity when I play with my group, like a well struck ball that hits a single tree branch that would've otherwise been on the green, or a ball that rolls 1" out of bounds. I know that it's a horrible feeling. I appreciate these guys because I learn so much from them; not just swing tips, but course management and mental toughness.
Love Wesley talking to Grant about course management/decision making on the course. Could yall do more of that of not just what you're hitting, but more of the reasoning behind it? Its not for me, but for a high handicap golfer friend....definitely not for me. Also amazing series idea! Can't wait to watch more!
You are on my favourite course, played it in 2015 and it was blowing like on your first round, luckily I wasn’t playing from the tips. Amazing course, stunning coastline and a birdie on 17 was the icing on the cake. Great content chaps!
@George, @Wes great swings my friends! Favorite course I’ve played, tie between Plantation course Maui and Royale Liverpool in Hoylake for sure!!! 🔥🔥🔥Thanks for the great videos!
20:30 I really like seeing the down the line camera angle when these guys chip. I like to see the difference in how much they open the club face at address and how they close it down a bit at impact. It’s something I’m working on and this helps a great deal to see how different pro level guys address that shot. Wes is so unique in how he decelerates to get that spin.
