Mike , I’m sixty five and been watching your channel from beginning ..watching because you are living my life, just about everything you do and have done is what I would have and what I wished I could have done.. you and your family , from what we have been able to watch are probably the most wholesome , intelligent ,kindest, family oriented channel I watch , ( and I prob follow about ten channels). Keep your head up and watch your six , I’ll keep praying “ they” don’t get you down. You work for your money Mike. The government steals it from the citizens. BIG difference. I love what you do. I have learned in life holding onto equipment too long is no good. Now it's even worse because it is difficult to get parts and when you do get them they are expensive. The newer the equipment the less trouble you will have. Unless you are Andrew Camerata and just like spending 3/4 of your time fixing things, it is no good. Your way of thinking is right on in my book!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!

I've seen some pretty bad examples over my 69 years. Teasers. I enjoy your teasers, but it matters not, because I look forward to your next post daily. I've never been disappointed, you always have good stuff going on! There's just so much crap going on in the world nowadays, I find watching people doing everyday stuff, you know, real life, much nicer than the made-up, fake crap, on commercial crap TV. My father in law Would have loved this channel. He had an old Mobile Dimension Saw Mill that ran off a Volkswagen engine. He was a very smart guy and he built a conveyor system that would carry rhe sawdust on an pile it up using something like grain drill. You still had to move the pile but he was really proud of his solution. What you have seems to work great with the way you get the job done. Great Channel!

Good morning Mike I think it’s great that you do you have this channel and entertaining us I think it’s bad how people get jealous of you buying stuff and doing the stuff you do because there’s a lot of people that do that. They don’t have a RU-vid channel and people don’t have any idea the people that get mad or the people that are lazy and don’t work for the stuff they want and that’s my opinion. This is just entertainment and if they don’t like it, they don’t have to keep it up and we all need to make America great again

As you were cutting those wide boards, I was quietly bemoaning their destiny as stickers. I’m very relieved that beautiful clear wood went to lumber, and the outer edge of the pith went to stickers. All in all, I think you maximized the value of that log to your several purposes. It would be interesting to see a few minutes of video on how the scraps get reduced to kindling. Assume cut to about 12” and split 1x or 2x? I guess if you can stack several on end in a line, you could use the vertical splitter on more than one at a time. Is splitting once sufficient for kindling? Good day’s work; nice video.

Mike, just a thought about your sawdust disposal system. Right now you have to make several trips with the skid loader to scoop it all up and dump it. Then it still leaves a lot of residue behind on the ground, some of which you must shovel by hand into the skid loader. How about using some sort of large square or rectangular heavy duty tarp with four grommets on the corners. Spread the tarp out on the ground alongside the sawmill, and all the sawdust could then fall onto it. When full, gather the four corners together with heavy duty rope or chain. Then just pick it up with the excavator and take it to wherever you want to dump it.

Thanks Mike for keeping the SuperDuty Truck. I worked at the Kentucky Truck Plant where it's built for 30 years and retired 1-1/2 years ago.

Great video Mike! And sound just like me, I to go start doing things and find myself doing several other things and maybe have time to do what I was trying to start. Have a great day.

I really enjoy everything you're family is doing...You are a prime example of a class of people who are self sufficient, wise, hard working, talented, and willing to share...contrast that with the guy who believes in big government and fantasy land.

Just starting the video. Pause: And you’re such a tease, Mike. You always do that. Say “here comes the news…”. “it’s coming. I’m gonna tell you soon, you’ll really like it.” It’s hilarious. I can’t wait to find out probably in a week or so. We’ll see how the rest of the tape goes. Blessings. 🤓

I would get some of those metal horse water troffs and lay them side by side and get that sawdust shoot to get in them and then you could fork or skid them somewhere and dump them I think it would be alot easier and cleaner just a idea.

My guess is the yellow machine is a mini compact stand on track loader and the other is a snowblower or mulching head for the fullsize skidsteer. No replacement tractor. Which would suck because i started watching from the start for the tractor content.

What do you do with your accumulated saw dust? You can buy small pellet mills that produce hardwood pellets for heating and cooking. Maybe an idea for the growing business. I really enjoy the channel you provide and the conservative honest outlook you put into video and commentary.
