January 2023, flooded river, cold (blanked 2 days before) but I got a new rod :)
so a day later decided to test it out.
The weight, sensitivity, and options this rod has are just amazing.
Before for LRF I had to stick with 7g lures... a bigger swell or wind and there was no chance to use it.
This rod is rated up to 15g which when positioned properly will be great even on high winds.
That is what I decided to test.
winds were over 30 knots, a quite strong current from the flooded river.
But had one of the best sessions on the river :) not just this year.
