It’s such a terrible thing that it’s ever allowed anywhere, like a person CANNOT legally consent to someone ending their life. Even if someone would genuinely be consenting during the sexual act, it obviously stops if it turns into something much worse because then it’s not the same “activity” that was agreed upon anymore, and the person who did it must then be held responsible. Absolutely infuriating. This whole case broke my heart, I can’t even imagine what the family must be feeling.

praying that a bill is put forward to outlaw that defence in the us as well. such bs from a man who was literally institutionalized for homicidal fantasies. i don’t understand how the prosecution didn’t obliterate their defences case, it’s so clear from kendall’s video that this was murder cut and dry, i don’t understand how a whole multiple day trial somehow failed to prove that Morrison had murderous intent. so upsetting to see, i pray the family is able to heal

My "ex" that was involved in human trafficking. He followed me to the USA when i escaped from E Germany when we lived.. he has a 10 year order against him in FL. I thought i had won some protection. No. No...they have let him break him 100x over, i have evidence. They refused to help me .i used give cops benefit of the doubt. Last year of my life i dont respect them AT ALL. They would never be called by me again. No matter what, i wouldn't call them. They turn everything around. No protection, no Service.

The fact that Mitzi never mowed her lawn because "that's where the butterfly's live" shows how caring she was......I can feel her daughter and sisters love through the screen. Mitzi's love for them was so large, and so deep that it will never truly be gone. Rest in peace

Mitzi's sister Ang is so amazingly strong and I admire her for channeling her grief and anger into being a domestic violence advocate. Mitzi and her family and friends were definitely done a disservice by the Georgia courts. It's disgusting what was done to Mitzi in court and how they disregarded her life, but unfortunately it's not surprising. I'm a survivor of domestic abuse and I can promise you women are not believed and are disregarded. Anyways thank you for bringing this case to people's attention Kendall, thank you for giving Mitzi and her family a voice.

It really bothers me that a defendant can be granted a new trial if the defense was inadequate/incompetent (which I believe should absolutely be the case), but there's little to no recourse for victims and/or their families if the prosecution is incompetent.

We need to find an applicable federal crime, then lobby a federal prosecutor. The state cannot and will not do anything further because of double jeopardy. He crossed state lines with her body. That gives be feds some kind of jurisdiction. With the current climate of Justice as a social movement, there is a possibility that with enough pressure, a fed prosecutor will take up the case. For review at the very least.

Hi, Kendall! I know it's not likely that you will ever see this comment but I'll try anyway. There is a very mysterious missing case of a fifteen year old girl in my country. She went missing almost four years ago and hasn't been seen again ever since. Many believe that her family was involved in her disappearance but the police couldn't gather any evidence. Her name was Rebecca Reusch and she was from Berlin, Germany. I would love to see that her case reaches more people and maybe that you decide to make a video on it. There are many articles online. There won’t be another trial in this specific case. Double jeopardy laws apply. Unless they can get him on some kind of federal charges for crossing state lines. It’s crazy that the people who knew her best weren’t able to dispute his claim of her requesting to be choked with her phobias. The prosecutor in this case is the real issue. They only want a “win”. They don’t care what they win on. Many ultra progressive DAs have been giving criminals more rights than victims. Prosecutors need to be able to be sued. Pure and simple.

Omg hearing her daughter talk about how she felt losing her mother made me lose it!!! I wish I could take her pain away!! I know how it feels losing someone who you love more than anyone in this world, someone here one minute but then gone the next in a horrific manner…it takes your breath away. And you know right then that your life will never be the same-that it’s now dark and you feel like you’re suffocating trying to breathe. Her daughter is so beautiful and strong!!

Ang & Constance are so strong & BRAVE!! I could listen to y’all talk for hours. I pray more True Crime Creators talk about Mitzi Babbs & the INJUSTICE that happened in her trial. Everything about it has a ton of RED FLAGS! Evidence going missing, fighting to have it in Georgia, NOT letting the family speak at the trial, & all of a sudden switching the narrative. My dad worked with Mitzi at Croom, and she was the sweetest person. My kids loved her and we enjoyed her so much! When this happened, we were all shocked and still continue to be shocked and so upset by this.

The way Constance and Ang were silenced and Ang was set aside during the first day of trial is so disgusting. Meanwhile they let Jeffrey talk about basically sexual assaulting Mitzi in the woods, it is so awful. How can the detectives allow this? Allowing their evidence to disappear should be investigated in itself to be honest. How can you get away with losing evidence required for something as serious as someones life being taken. Justice officials get too much leniency. I’m hoping theres a way to increase Jeffreys sentence. (Also wanted to mention why did catrine set Mitzi up with Jeffrey when she probably knew he was dealing with violent tendencies..)

I think about the things I went through almost daily, and I feel so blessed to have gotten out of my situation before something like this happened to me. I truly believe that was where it was heading. If you are going through something in your relationship that isn’t right, and you have been waking on a sign to do something about it. This is your sign!! Even if you try to justify the behavior as stress, or something small, please listen to your gut. It only takes one time for things to escalate. Please reach out for help if you need it. Family. Friends. Church. Shelters. There is no shame in it! Not sure who needs to hear that, but I felt like someone might. Please take care. ❤

Mitzi was one of the most beautiful, magical, love filled people I have ever known. I was one of the people Jeffery made a point to visit on his road trip. I had a bad feeling about him immediately, but I didn’t tell her. He may not have gotten justice in the courtroom, but hopefully he’ll see her face every time he closes his eyes. It’s so upsetting that lawyers are given the opportunity to take laws and twist them in their favor. That evidence can be left out. If I ever served as a juror, I would be incredibly pissed to know I didn’t get to hear everything or I didn’t get to see everything. That parts were left out. How can we make just decisions without all the pieces that are available. He absolutely planned to kill her and the other women. He absolutely knew what he was doing.
