Major Problem with LongRunner Electric Skateboard 

Leonard D From what I understand, they're a fairly new company. I got this board on Kickstarter. They had to ship a ton of boards all at once between that & an indigogo campaign. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this seems like a basic quality control issue that even a new company should've been on top of. The board still rolled after I lost 2 screws, which is evident by the damage to the edge of the wheel, but if I'd have lost that third one at top speed, I could've been injured pretty bad.

Jan Persiel Yup. Still nothing here. What a waste. The snow came, so I never got around to finding my own screw to replace the missing ones. It was a fun little board for a ride & a half. Liked it better than my Acton Blink board, but Acton stands behind their products much better. They've taken care of me on a few issues.

Do you recall what screws you got? It's finally starting to warm up in my neck of the woods & I still never heard anything from them, so I'm going to try to find new screws too. It's too bad, because the board was nice to ride before it fell apart.

guymal I haven't had a chance to try & find screws, but if I do, I'll be sure to report back. IDK if I'm glad to know I'm not the only one or not at this point...

A bunch of people commented on Kickstarter that they lost those screws. Hopefully we'll be able to solve this problem quickly.

guymal To be honest, I haven't spent much time on their Kickstarter since I got the board. I noticed that their Facebook page seems to have disappeared...

Yea they started getting a lot of complaints on their Facebook page so they shut it down. Then people switched over to the Kickstarter page to try to get answers from them.

guymal Doesn't bode well for those of us that NEED answers. It sucks that shipping took longer than they led us to believe, but I was just happy to have the board. They had a chance to make up for delayed shipping by sending a quality product or quickly standing behind it. So far, they haven't done a good job at that either. Hoping that changes for the better. The snow's threatening to start flying where I'm at soon, so my days of riding any board are numbered.

cerisecons You're telling me! Starting to get cold up here. I hate to fix it myself & then have them give me a hard time if/when they want me to send it back, so I'm waiting to see what they say. That edge of the wheel is all chewed up because it took me a bit to figure out that the strange nose I heard wasn't normal. I just thought the road conditions had changed or something. Hoping they'll make good on it since the box claims it's ready to ride & this one obviously wasn't.

Jon, if you use the loctite we've spoken of, and it stays together, how would it change anything if they send you parts / another driver wheel? The wheel polyurethane is already chewed up...

cerisecons I know. Been busy with other things lately, so I haven't had a chance to try & find new screws & lock washers. They did say that they may request the board back for a "check up". It'll be Christmas with snow on the ground by the time it gets back if they ship the same way they did to get it here, so if I get some free time, I might give it a try.
