Major problems facing Albinos in South Africa 

This is the most subjective and cringing interview I've ever seen a white journalist conduct in South Africa. She kept saying 'people living with albinism' as if it was some kind of horrible disease you can't really talk about, when in fact it's caused by genetics. The journalist should have informed herself better about the subject before interviewing. I would have loved to have conducted this interview with this woman and gone into a lot more detail about exactly why they are being discriminated against so much by the black community. The 'manufacturing' of ' traditional medicine' was skipped over, for instance: the fact that albinos are killed while alive so that a maximum amount of adrenaline will stream through their blood while they are being tortured to death - and then from the harvested human flesh, medicines are made. That's the reality of what was spoken about here. The horror of this is indescribable but it should be discussed openly and in great detail so that people know exactly what these poor people have to go through.

I See a beautiful strong black woman. I pray one day I will give birth to a child with albinism.

Europeans are albinos… I wonder if our colonial history is because of how we were treated in africa before we left….
