The American Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system, formerly known as National Missile Defense (NMD), was first tested in 1997 and had its first successful intercept test in 1999. You had a discussion weather hunting bullets from shotguns would disable drones. In my view you need to know the type of material and thickness of the drones and the speed and mass of the bullets. With some experiments and calculations you can determine if it would be effective. It would be a nice science experiment. My point is that you don't need several expensive drones.

I think the surface fleet ability to fire missiles has nearly been eliminated in the Black Sea, but there is still the Admiral Makharov which has 8 (2 × 4) UKSK VLS cells for Kalibr, Oniks or Zircon anti-ship/cruise missiles. and there are still the submarines I think three, which can fire missiles.
