Self created finishing (even that's iffy, but it doesn't make up for the fact that he's a bad shooter and a horrible defender.​ While I agree that trading 4 and 8 for 1 doesn't sound great, we could easily see Dejounte return to his former self playing his natural position in a good environment. with an actual lob threat which in turn could give Dejounte more intensity on defense.

Outside the top 2 pick this is said to be a weak draft.. so I say no.. I would trade Murray for the 4# pick

If we want to be championship contenders in the next 2 to 3 years, we pick Murray. If we are willing to wait for five years, we pick Steffon Castle at four and hope that he develops. I kind of feel like we’re already super young. We draft this year for starters then turn around and draft next year for starters we’re going to be even younger. We need at least some sort of veteran presence

He was right though? If Dejounte hadn't left the team they wouldn't have been bad enough to get wemby, and probably wouldn't have traded White. I hate this bs tribalism as if Murray insulted your family name just because he wanted to play basketball somewhere else, its not as serious as you make it out to be. The spurs players in the hypothetical trade are there for salary filler and don't have any value, for a good reason. There's also a good reason that the front office is more interested in murray than trae young, maybe because they dont hold a blood feud with anyone who asks out.

He got his wish. Let him continue to languish with that team. Many teams are interested in acquiring Keldon Johnson, who he must have more value than you seem to think. Blake Wesley is raw, but still developing. We have two of the top picks in this year’s draft. Let us stick and pick two solid players. Who wants this year’s Atlanta pick when the 2025 pick should be more valauble. This proposed trade who not benefit the Spurs as much as it would benefit the Hawks. @@sarahmccoy1941 wouldn't really care to see Kawhi back, making too much money and a bit old. Maybe you could get some value from trading Keldon if a gm has never watched the spurs, it's hard to contribute to a team when you cant shoot threes or play defense, or cant pass. There's so many people on the spurs i really like, that i think guys like keldon who dont have potential are just taking minutes away. Though I do believe that the spurs shouldn't make any crazy trades this off-season and keep rebuilding going into next season, people are overreacting in trying to make a contender around wemby way too early.

@@louisv5345 TP would not work in 2024 NBA. He was good in his era. But he would not help team to W in 2024. 1-4 need to be able to shoot efficiently now. And generally the PG need to be elite at shooting. Stephon Castle can't shoot too. I don't like that... but at least he have D.

@@aspleen1102 idk man.Traoré shot 47% in the french playoffs against grown men. Thrashed u18's at the ANGT and will develop into an ok shooter with a drive + a good passer. Will probably grow to 6'5-6'6 in shoes. I clearly see him as n°1 PG in the supposedly loaded 2025 class
