I've taught the law for two decades. I've been. an attorney for three decades. Did an internship for a state AG's office in the criminal enforcement division, clerked for a criminal court judge, did constitutional work for a criminal defense firm, and wrote a 150,000 word textbook on fraud. In addition to a JD, I have a masters in accounting and an MBA. In addition to the law, I've taught accounting at the university level. I've traveled the country giving seminars to CPAs on fraud and the law. In spite of all that, I simply cannot fathom what laws Trump legitimately violated in the NYC case. It's utter insanity. Only a corrupt or politically obsessed hack of a judge would allow such a novel theory as Bragg's to survive a summary judgment motion or motion to dismiss. His case is idiocy, lunacy.

I don’t understand why Justice Sotomyer says that the decision elate the fundamental constitutional precedent that no man is above the law. No man is above the law but the law is that president have limited immunity for official act committed while they were president and that it extends past Presidency.
